  • If you didn't watch this when you were a child... Your childhood was dead.

  • That skeleton had a great, expressive face. I love skeleton cartoons just after ghost cartoons, but the skeletons are much harder to draw.

  • 0 dislikes =D

  • Why did Flip's horse turn into a skeleton?.

  • @1993joshualiu Flip is now a carrier for a fast acting flesh eating disease, no matter where he runs to he will carry it with him. The end of the cartoon is just the beginning of the nightmare.

  • This cartoon was shown in Rob Zombies Halloween 2.... cool :)

  • The skeletons have tongues!

  • Flip The Frog was a horny Toad man. Flip The Frog is a very funny entertaining cartoon. I let my 6 year watch Flip.

    Боже мой!!!!!

    Как его давно ищу!

  • spooky!!! Yahh...... Not Realy!!!!!

  • spooky!!!

  • Love these vintage cartoons! All hand drawn and painted by artists -- not this computer generated animation of today. I think the older Disney cartoons and Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes were among the best -- my opinion. Still prized collector's items are the hand painted "cels" from those early cartoons if you can find them.

  • flip was a horny little toad

  • I think the video was called "Jack and the Beanstalk". I seem to remember an introduction to the video, which showed a line of fairytale characters dancing down a rainbow. Is it on Youtube?

  • i love these cartoons, so much better than the ones we have now...

  • i used to have a video with this and jack and the beanstalk on it there was a cuple more but i cnt rememba dus no ANY videos with them on it!!!

  • @JellyCoatedBean Yeah man, I had that video too. It took me ages to find this sketchy cartoon that I remember from my childhood. I have no idea what the video was called, all I remember it had this and Jack and the Beanstalk on it. I love the vintage and surreal style of this.

  • @ryz1001 I think the video was called "Jack and the Beanstalk" :).

  • @ryz1001 i no yer its well good!! wud love to find the video again

  • the most dark and machabre animations EVER!!! this freeked me owt big time wen i was little! still loved it tho

  • If your not laughing or even grinning 5 seconds in, you have problems lol

  • ub iwerks is a great animator he's the

reason why disney is so famous his works are better then some people today, as a matter of fact ub inspired me to do animation

  • Hanna Barbera inspired me to do animation but I am just so fascinated by this guy too. I just discovered this not even an hour ago!

  • great character design in this one--easily one of the most effective 'toons put out by anyone---including DISNEY---during this period. If you ever put together a double bill of the early 30s FRANKENSTEIN/KING KONG---put this baby on first as an 'appetiser' treat---brilliant entertainment!

  • Why Did Flip's Horse turn into a skeleton?.

  • Pure imagination!

  • i LOVE this! i had bought it on video tape somtime in 1991. Its so funny when Flip feeds the bones to the dog without the skeleton realising :) Does anybody understand why the skeleton wanted to kill him? was it because he didnt eat the chicken, or because he broke the skeleton woman, or is the skeleton just evil all along? Does anybody know? This question has been bugging me :/ thanks so much for this!:)

  • The skeleton in the top-hat wanted Flip's skeleton for his collection.

  • 5:40 the answer to your question my friend

  • It's so disney looky :)

Is it true that he created mickey?

  • It's so disney looky :)

Is it true that he created mickey?

Yes he did, Ub Iwerks created Mickey and Disney took all the credit which is why Iwerks left Disney. Matter of fact Iwerks did all the animation. Just another example of one person exploiting another.

  • no he left because powers lured him out. he was given credit but not till later really. but really yeah your right

  • This was one scary, graphic cartoon for it's day and time!

  • жесткий мультик!

  • Creepy as hell! 2.50=funny!

  • FLIP! Thanks, zaxmania

  • I like when Flip tells his horse (donkey?) to "shut up".

  • I never thought I'd see Flip the Frog cartoons ever again!

    THANKS!!

  • Another 16mm favorite of mine to borrow from the Seattle Public Library... back in the day.

  • This animation is amazing, far superior to most peoples work today. Ub was the greatest

  • So this is the kinda stuff that influenced Jan Svankmajer, or atleast I think.

  • I have this one on the cartoons that time forgot vol. 2! thanks for uploading it.
