I have adhd and for the last month, ive been taking concerta. my parents were concerned that i would react badly to the new medication ( as in it would change my personality too much) so we started at a smaller doseage of 27 mg for a week, 36 for a month and for the last 4 days i have been on my full dose at 54 mg. ive noticed that instead of being sleep deprived i feel more tired. but also i can go more than ten minutes without fidgeting with anything! its been good and i hope it contines well.

I just got prescribed concerta today, I don't know how long till it kicks in but I'm a bit nervous as to the side affects however am anxious for the decreased apetite!! =P I've heard this drug is as well dependable and used as a way to wein people addicted to cocciane because of it's similar properties and chemical effects within the body-depending if taken orally or other methods.

oh crap it affects height too? i'm 19 and i've been taking it since i was 11. no wonder i'm so short... :(

I have aquired a 54mg tablet to test if I could possibly catch up on my schoolwork, the only effect I have noticed is increased patience thus leading to greater amount of work (I usually do nothing at all) handed in. Some degree of decreased appetite,although I could eat just fine even 3 hours after dosing. I do not recommend taking this prescribed medication without the consultation of a liscenced practioner.

decieving pigs like this doctor should be arrested, i took this medication when i was a kid and now i have depression,anxiety and social problems while still suffering from the same condition that it was prescribed for. Concerta is a psycostimulant amphetamine like Ecstasy or Meth. never let a developing child around it.

I just got a higher dose of Concerta and it made me concentrate less and started to fidget :(

I have ADHD to i take cooncerta 2 tablets in the morning and i am 13 years old and i take remeron at night but i didnt take remeron for a couple of days to go to sleep easier i can go to sleep on my own without remeron most of the time. Should I take remeron 1 tablet if i can go to sleep with out it?

What am i supposed to feel with concerta? i've taken it for a couple days now and I'm at the 36mg dosage. I haven't experienced any noticeable change... Do I need to be performing activities I usually dread before I feel a difference? And is it something you actually "feel" or just an increased capacity to do things you don't normally enjoy?
