I think the guy truly nailed this song, he sings it just like a crooner, as he should. The vocoder singing "super duper" is a strange but delightful detail. It's all kinda dark, like Joel Grey in "Cabaret". There's even some of Irving Berlin's "Alexander's Ragtime Band". I really liked it.
