lol so basically cleto reyes got the shit kicked out of him and decided to get revenge by making the hardest hitting punchers glove out there. i like his style! haha
@sedod66 I don't think he lost, from what I read he put a good fight (it was an amateur tournament) and he damaged his gloves. He was already a leathersmith so he repaired those gloves and started a business.
@pauLboxer2011 depends on what you wanna use it for, sparring then 16oz, pad/bag work 12oz. If you want one for both sparring AND padwork, then 14oz is fine too
btw, the gloves shown in the video are the fight gloves with the horse hair which are not used for training, you can only get these gloves in 8oz and 10oz, but you being 100lbs, you wouldn't use 8oz anyway for a bout. Also these gloves don't last very long and can damage your hands if you intend to train in them, if you want'em just for decorations or whatever, that's fine
@poncekid56 what is the difference. their both made in mexico. it's not like ringside makes their own or anything. unless you are comparing the older model of the reyes glove where it said "hecho en mexico" instead of "cleto reyes." if that's the difference.
@brandeezy108 I believe the ringside versions are converted to their standards, there is in fact two different versions; and reportedly the ones found in Mexico are of better quality
made in china

We all know there is a difference between the reyes sold on ringside and the ones in Mexico. How can I tell which one is which by the looks?
