Mani Nasry grew up in Montreal, and then moved to Toronto to pursue his acting and filmmaking career. He trained with Salem Ludwig for directing and with Donna DeMatteo for playwriting at H.B Studio in New York. As an actor he trained in Los Angeles and in New York at the Actors Studio founded by Elia Kazan, now operated by Al Pacino & Harvey Keitel. He concentrates on bringing in new form of expressions with raw material and instinct, all in order to capture an experience.
