Drumming is about passion, energy, and individuality. Tell keith moon or john bonham to calm down and see how much of an ass you sound like. The only exception is neil peart, who drums robotically, and that's because he's already mastered drumming and is probably bored by now.

@shamroxboy Most pop punk/modern rock players do that, they pick a lighter ride and use it as a constant crash, using the thinner crashes as accents. Works VERY well IMO. His drumming is amazing, don't calm down kid, you put some emotion into your playing, and it shows. All your covers are amazing!
