  • 1:47 is a Scarlet since they don't have eye patches. However, that could be a young Ruby Macaw (Scarlet x Green- winged). They look exactly like a Scarlet but they develop the green in their wings. Ruby Macaws are rare so I doubt this one IS one.

  • I have most of these =) lol

  • If you mean the one at 1:46, it's also a Scarlet. There are two subspecies, Ara macao macao and Ara macao cyanoptera. A. m. macao may have the yellow band tipped with green, it is completely natural and it is not a hybrid.

  • thanks for the video i loved it

  • I really like Scarlet Macaws, but flying in the free nature, not in a cage.

  • What is the bird on 1:44?

  • Green wing macaws look sort of similar, and are a lot friendlier from what I've been told.

They are beautiful, but too big a bird for me. So I bought an amazon instead. :)

  • @shugabuns Greenwings are extremely friendly when raised correctly. I have a greenwing. They are huge, but amazing xD

  • ray2k1..thats a ruby macaw. ( a scarlet crossed with a greenwing)

  • @macanmllvr - No, it's s Scarlet. Small beak (compared to a greenwing) like a Scarlet, stripe-less face like a Scarlet, sapphire blue wings like a Scarlet, clean yellow wing band like a Scarlet, light red tone like a Scarlet...

  • @Skywalker91 oh really? i thought that if a macaw had green and yellow on the wing then its a cross of a green wing ans scarlet. because greenwings have green, and scarlets have yellow. but look up a ruby macaw. (i believe you, its just interesting to see) thanks!

  • molan mucho

  • my macaw becomes so chill of this noise =)

  • haha nice. macaws are my favorite bird

  • I don't know the names of all of those Macaws. I saw the scarlette the blue and gold and the hiacinth, but what were the others? They are beautiful. I would want a scarlet if I were to have one.

  • @Janfromboone a lot of people say they would want the scarlet, and thats why 50% of them are abused. Even though they are beautiful they are aggressive 'little' buggers, and bot the friendliest macaw. Macaws are for very experienced keepers.

  • @stacysaysrawr101 Good to know. I wondered why I see some of the others more often. I'm just happy with my CAG. He is all I ever will need - and he is quiet.

  • @stacysaysrawr101

Not 50% are abused. It is less than most people think. It would be like 80% I breed every single type of Macaws, even the hybrids. They are all friendly but when not raised correctly, they are aggressive birds. I don't sell my birds to first- time bird owners nor people who can't take care of it.

  • cute birds

  • man i could keep listening to this sound forever, it sounds so relaxing

  • okayy..very casual
