I think if the act was consensual then there shouldn't be any sort of repercussions on matthew. You can clearly tell how much he regrets it and how much the situation means to him, he doesn't appear to be by any means a heartless bastard. The act was consensual and I believe matthew johns. I feel sorry for the girl if she has gone through any sort of bad states because wanting to end your life is a serious matter. here's my opinion - she was 19, in the company of six athletic, famous men in a hotel room all of whom were significantly older. They bypassed responsibility by saying she consented - an easy way to pretend to themselves that their behaviour was acceptable. We've all done things we regret when we were young. every single one of those men should have known this would come back to haunt her. Instead, they used her consent as an excuse to do whatever they wanted. enough said.
