  • What does it matter who was the best composer. Stop bickering and appreciate this beautiful playing of the spring sonata without arguing about irrelevant things.

  • I don't remember arguing with anyone about anything holy shit, they're all brilliant composers. I love this movement, this shit makes me jump up and down like a little child. Genuinely.

  • It'sa bit rough, but I'm going to achieve this standard, no matter what, without the roughness.

  • I want to play like that, no matter what.

  • Ahhh it's just so lovely :) !!

  • Who played this?

    amazing.. =)

  • beethhoven...for someone who can't hear...you have such an amazing music that even our ears would become deaf with our endless listening to it :).

  • doing this and the second movement for my violin amus exam :)

  • this is my fave song =D it sounds like the violin and piano are singing together in harmony

  • So tough

  • @lazlosplane Dude dont talk to misspudding like that , otherwise i will kill you in heroes of newerth ! FEAR THE PROGAMER

@apostrophile Go kick his ass and add he in banlist ;)

  • :) it sounds perfect

  • Those grace notes of the 2nd theme need to be heard, not run over like a bus.

  • sugoi ~~ cool !

  • This sonata is wonderful! In this version the speed isn't so quick compared to the other versions i'd heard. This song really helps you relax. thumbs up!

  • Violin is a bit weak

  • @stockcar5472 Right? I thought I was the only one who thought that ...

    Either way, great piece.

  • @diorknob

I think the violin is weak too, I first hear this sonata in a anime call Nodame Cantabile, and I like the anime version more

  • @Siriusblck3 xDD classical music started liking me when i first watched that drama!! very good, and yes it was kinda different the other version, but like both

  • @noe5o1 I always like classical music, when I watch the anime I want to stop with guitar and play piano,or become a conductor. XD

  • @Siriusblck3 jajaja me too!!! being a conductor must be really cool!! and playing piano too!!!

    think we're from neighbor countries!!!

  • Who performed this?beautiful interpretation.

  • playin' this song now :p so awesome!!!:D

  • Beautifull... heaven music.

  • Nice...

  • don't like this interpretation too much, not romantic enough, as said before, staccati are very short, this is very much like 'spring' but without the passion in it, I believe... who is this, performing, anyway?

  • @flashgordo91

This is NOT a piece from the romantic era. In my ears it still could be a bit more strict and even as it is from the classical era.

  • @anonymusum I'm very sorry but your NOT in capital letters is a bit strong.

Of course it is not a piece from the middle of the romantic period, such as brahms or wagner, but in my opinion it is more of a romantic piece than of a classical piece...

This is not one of Beethovens early works, as it was written in 1801... so I don't see why you would put this in the classical period at all...

    Regards,

    Nicolas

  • He's not mythological. He's the alpha and omega and the one and only true living God. I know Him personally. :) He created music and since man is made in God's image He made us to be able to create stuff too. So yeah you're right that we make music. We compose songs and whatever but I believe it was God that gave us that ability.

  • @Kelsbrat16 Were your parents siblings?

  • @Kelsbrat16 You're talking about Bach, right?

  • muito bom

  • Sounds like two bunches of flowers singing beautifully on a big peice of meadow. lol

But I've heard a version that chords which played by another violist is longer. and with stronger sfz.

Staccato is not that short. Still, I love this.

I'm playing this song since I've first heard this. :]

  • Who´s playing??

  • It's Like A Cofee And A Creamer Thats Blends Together ^.^

  • I don't think so, because Mozart never composed or conducted while being completely deaf.

  • @RG007145 what a u talking about?? Mozart??

  • @RG007145 Mozart wasn't deaf.

  • @Miikeru - Isn't that what I just said? That I don't think Beethoven's genius is second to Mozart because Mozart never composed or conducted while being completely deaf?

I thought MrJYTK's comment was too retarded to reply to, so I didn't. But I guess no one knows English anymore.

  • @RG007145 CONGRATULATIONS!

You have just won the 'DUMBEST F**G STATEMENT IN THE UNIVERSE EVER" award!!

  • @LazlosPlane Actually, you're the one who is F**G dumb. He obviously means that Beethoven > Mozart because the former was able to accomplish a feat that the latter never did, and probably never could if the latter was deaf.

I fear that you won't understand this comment, but have a good day, sir. Additionally, if you could kindly take the time to kill yourself, the world would be a better place.

There is a reason Cr-48's don't ship with Caps Lock.

  • @Apostrophile . . . and getting FUCKING DUMBER with every utterance! ! ! Amazing ! ! ! How long can it keep this up??

  • @Apostrophile MsPudding Swearing i see?? GO GO GO

  • @Miikeru Neither was Beethoven for a long time in his life. Don't mix things up dude

  • @RG007145 None is better. They both composed very different music, both achieved the closest thing to perfection that could be achieved in their style. As composers, I don't think they can be compared. If you're playing the "deaf" card, I could tell you that a) he knew how things sounded when he was deaf, so there was no problem in that, or b) I could play the pianist card, since mozart is said to be the best pianist ever to walk the Earth.

So please, don't compare. They are both at the top

  • @Johnga2004 Mozart, really? interesting. i heard the Liszt belief, but i never really thought of Mozart being considered most virtuous. thanks for that

  • @RG007145 And before you all start talking about composing, there again I say it's all in the styles. If we are going to talk of a objectively best composer I wouldn't doubt it was Bach, at least in our school of music. Not only for what he wrote itself, but also for laying down pretty much the basics of our contemporary music.

  • Love how it sounds like a duet between the piano and the violin, what a masterpiece!

  • Truly a master of technique, you can see why music was drastically changed after Beethoven's work was created.

  • *sigh* absolutely gorgeous. God thank you for music.

  • beethoven is amazing!!!!!!!! this is one of my favorites!! i play the violin..hehe

  • I take that back, it's perfect

  • @sclyfies It really is. Such a great piece of music!

  • God, grant we with composing talent.

  • bravo
