Mashallah. Beautiful. Many videos on youtube claim to be the most *insert +ve adjective* Quran recitation, and alhamdulillah there are many great ones out there. But this is, seriously, a contender for one of the 'best' recitations on youtube at the moment. The recitation somewhat puts me into a trance; can't stop returning to the video. At not even 61,000 views, we should spread to our brothers and sisters to enjoy - hidden gem!

In the Quran, there is no la inna, perhaps you find that in mixed up Arabic speaking people

i have heard the imam pray an saw the ayaat on search truth. com the imam realising his mistake without hesitation corrects himself that is why no one took out his mistake. the imam prays wa realised its wrong changes it straight away to inna baade zahn ism.

I am no Arabic.. but at 5.30-5.40 in the ayah no. 12. The quran I refer to does not have the word " wa la". Can someone confirm this with me? I do not know the meaning of the word this imam added and whether it changes the meaning significantly. BUT just a thought for someone who like to memorise from this audio.

Its possible that the imam realised his mistake and jump continue straight to the correct verse "In na".

Anyway.. This imam is very good. I wish I could recite and understand like him.

Assalamu alaikum Akhi, you are absolutely correct. The Sheikh Made a mistake subhanAllah. I believe he caught it and tried to correct himself but it sounds like he just made a mistake. "wa la" Wa means and. and "la" generally is a negation, so it could be no, not, doesnt, etc. depending on the context. but you are correct, the Imam made a Mistake, May Allah forgive us all. ameen.

I could guess that no one spoke up because it would mess up the Sheikh's recitation, and anyway, it's not a Fardh or Wajib to recite any Ayeh after al Fatiha, it's just better to do that, and so, in this case, there was not that much of a need, because that could've made the Sheikh start to feel a bit nervous.

In fact, he made a mistake. It wasn't on purpose, but he just melted this part of the ayah with what's coming next and which contains "wa la" which can be understood as "and do not". Right after, he recites "wala yaghtab..." before "wala tajassassou"... but you know, nobody's perfect, may allah forgive him and us for all the wrong recitations while praying.
