We've all been up there a bunch. I've got 24 summits on 12 routes, of which 17 are one day climbs on 10 different routes. Go for D.C. If you can't get to Muir in 3-4 hrs then you should not be considering a 1day push. That should put you on summit in 9hrs total (taking an hr break at muir) and 12-13hrs car to car. Good luck!

That is awesome!!! How much experience did you guys have? I am going to attempt a one day climb in August of 2011.
