@loosestudios Marvin "Marv" Tarplin (June 13, 1941 – September 30, 2011) was an American guitarist and songwriter, best known as the guitarist for The Miracles during the 1950s through the early 1970s.also Still Water Run Deep for the Fours Tops Died Sept 30.2011 As a songwriter, Tarplin co-wrote Miracles hits including "Tracks of My Tears," "My Girl Has Gone" and "The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage." Smokey "Robinson on solo hits such as 1979's "Cruisin" and "Being With You."
MORE SONGS in the GRAMMY HALL of FAME than ANY OTHER MOTOWN GROUP !!! SMOKEY ROBINSON, BOBBY RODGERS, CLAUDETTE ROBINSON,RONNIE WHITE, PETE MOORE, and MARV TARPLIN...The Mighty MIRACLES !!!
I love the beginning drums. Another very interesting song by them is the back side of "The Love I Saw In You Was Just a Mirage", called "Come Spy with Me" and was the title song of the movie of the same name.
This is one of the best songs ever. I saw The Stones doing it live & it was great, but Smokey Robinson & The Miracles' record is even better. Thanks for posting it
Suddenly I'm 14 and dancin with the boy next door in my garage, mama wouldn't let him in my room to dance! LOL! Love it! Great old song, great time of my life, and I'm still goin to a go go next time a good band comes to town! Thanks so much dalkey130388!
Mamma'nem used to jam to this back in the day at the rent parties! LOL! we were too little to stay in the room. This was played at block parties and cookouts throught our generations.
They really were, I bought a best of album a while back, and every track was fantastic, made me fall in love with them! My favourite is Come round here (i'm the one you need). thanks bigbadblazer77!
I love to play this song when I go to bars! dance dance dance! :)

love this song, but one thing about the description:
Name me one song, I mean ONE song, that had it then but didn't have it now!
This music will never lose it's coolness

Smokey Robinson and the Miracles made dance all night long.
This is so classical and out of the world, because Brother Smokey and his Miracles made you feel so electrifying.
Those are the classical, that I wouldn't forget.
