show off!!! :) I used to live in kenya, East Africa 1982-85 (age 10-13), in a town called lake Magadi, its a private town about 85km from Nairobi. Magadi is in the Great Rift Valley and is a solid white soda lake very much like Death Valley in California. Only Magadi stays incredibly hot 365 days a year - about 50 degrees c! There was an ex-pat commuinity of British families living in this desert town. Many of the young lads had technical lego and we built off-road vehicles - damper susp en'all!

Why do none of yall lego epidesiacs make a lego rc with A 5 Speed or 6 Speed Transmission/Gearbox? The only one that high is the 7 speed bugatti veyron, i just dont get why anyone doesent make one.

Scratch the last sentence in my last post. I see how the locker thing was built in and how it works. Does the locker spin the center differential even when it isnt in 4WD?

I am getting the offroader for christmas this year. I am studying the locker and front axle to make mine 4WD(for the front axle did you just modify the rear then build another for the back?).I am guessing you have multiple recievers so you can remote control most everything. Can you make a video on how you build in the locker? I understand it but cant get how you built it in.

i have a question, im getting this set and i want to do the same you did basically , but i noticed in peeron that the steering with ball joints comes with a "U JOINT" special for that piece, my question is how did you manage to make it 4x4 did you add 2 more of the u joints tha match with the stirring arm?

@thewimpykid950 if i might tell you, the super car has little space, but if you take the componenst of the steering and suspencion, you can put big trtr tyres and make an off roader from your own design!!!! with powerfunctions !

Constructed through imagination and exploring, my sharing hopes to encourage the same in others. To help, I have sent links to more pictures for those that message me (sameks dot net/lego/Offroader-8297-4WD/). That is all I have. There are no instructions to be had. My comment of "best kept secret" was @alteragnostik as to were they can get an upgraded helper, remaining my secret.
