  • Wow at rating, not every child is going to be able to pick up a Wii remote and know what to point at on screen, most aren't going to be able to point the thing at all and realize what they're actually doing. I'd say for kids age three, my son can pick up a pencil and write ABC and 123 at age 2 but get's confused at the pointer on the Wii. Netflix with learning programs my be a better choice until your kid can learn what the Wii remote actually does.

  • My daughter has collected all the musical instruments except the piano. she needs to do the story scramble and bubble wrap games (as shown in the report card) but we can't find them anywhere on the map??? we can see two buildings where these game are probably situated but haven't got a clue how to get there.

    please help us!

  • @GLaDOStesting if u are interested u can check my vid I uploaded bounce down in ballon town. Myabe that will help you :)

  • @claud156

thanks - actually she started again and this time she was careful to get all the pieces of an instrument before going on to the next puzzle. that way she DID manage to collect all the instruments. then the bull moved out the way and she proceeded to the 'story telling' level with the turtle. she had to get the correct order for the story to be told (beginning, middle, end) which she did over 20 times (correctly) and still it would not let her progress to the last puzzle. she gave up.

  • @GLaDOStesting so your daughter couldn't pass the part where you complete the sentences that rhymes right? does she have enough turtles? If not then she can play the story telling again to get more turtles and maybe she can somehow unwrap the ship :)

  • @GLaDOStesting so your daughter couldn't pass the part where you complete the sentences that rhymes right (which is the last part of the game to unwrap the ship)? does she have enough turtles? If not then she can play the story telling again to get more turtles and maybe she can somehow unwrap the ship :)

  • @claud156

not exactly - the game did not allow her to enter the last puzzle section. she seemed to be stuck at the 'tell the story in the correct order' puzzle which after 20 correct wins still continued to ask her to play the same puzzle again. she got fed up and that was the end. she never played the rhyming puzzle and obviously never saw the ship unwrapped. a shame.

  • @GLaDOStesting maybe ur daughter didn;t notice the doorway on the right (beside the bubblewrapper) she is suppose to click on that so she can play the rhyming puzzle game (which is the last one) then she can unwrap the ship. I don't really know how to explain about the door way unless if u watch my vid part 6 it may be more clear to what i'm saying :)

  • @claud156

    brilliant - thanks.

i watched part 6 of your videos and see what to do now.

    thank you for your help.

  • @GLaDOStesting ur welcome :) glad i could help

  • this game is confusing as shit.. and they expect kindergardeners to play this?!

  • Yes, my 4 year old was able to complete this and get 90% of the way through 1st grade, so I think it is fairly easy. And the program has been around for 10 years and won 175 awards. It was also tested with children of the correct age.

  • @klhurley63 been around for 10 years and they still cant design an intuitive interface... there's no way of telling whats interactable in "world" and the scenes pictures and sometimes even the theme of the puzzle has nothing to do with anything.. really really bad gui design.. honestly this software is not worth your money. Buy your kids a book.

  • @lionpress999 Probably should get your get your child some special education then, as it's won 175 awards and been focus tested with other children and tested very well. Of course you are entitled to your opinion, even though you a clearly in a small minority of people that doesn't like it. Try seeing if your kids like it. Mine did and the puzzles clearly teach basic skills. My child is already reading, writing and doing math. i feel pretty good about giving my child a huge advantage.

  • @klhurley63 insulting my kid, nice.. speaking as a user interface designer, yes it is very bad. I dont know how the PC software/games look (awards were to PC).. but the port to Wii is incredibly bad.

  • @klhurley63 @ should get your get your child ........................................maybe you need some special ed also, or prove read before insulting someone. How dare you say this to someone you do not even know. People hid behind there pc and say/type the nastiest comments. What happen to manners and respect???

  • @cakesthatrock You don't have to know someone to insult them, and if you do know a person and insult them, then it's considered tough love or an act of encouragement. Those same type of people who talk trash behind the computer are the same type that are in our government and police force, people who use to be bullied and now want to bully others with authority. You'll never hear a Cop say before this career I use to play Football.
