@MrJDmGsR1 VTEC lobes on a B16A intake cam are more aggressive than the ones on a B18C GSR. Therefore the noise is louder on B16s. It proves it on this video, you can see the torque pull on the bottom end. You can see how the car is acting with the noise. Plus VTEC isn't so pronounced in transition. That is typical behaviour of GSR motors.

with a vtec motor swap?? Well since honda makes about 900 motors with vtec that pretty much narrows it down. NSX swap, S2000 swap, Accord Swap, Element swap, crv swap, civic swap, civic si swap, civic type r swap, integra swap, etc
