Also, the best bits of cradle are the crappy bits that slowly and satanicly lead up to the epic parts. The crap bits are just a 'meat shield' if you get me. But your comment is fair i suppose.

COF's secret weapon was Stuart. when he left the band after Cruelty, the compositions became more simple, and boring imo.

To say COF 'evolved' is just ridiculous. They went backwards. The last two albums---including the new one--are steps in the right direction, but they are still nowhere near the level of Cruelty or Dusk imo.
