Haha, fine with me, I'm not the one who wrote the song, lol. On its own the song is kinda strange, but I picked it because I thought it described Atlanta well from Archie's point of view. Like he's trying to tell her to show some love and that she doesn't have to act so tough all of the time. All he really wants her to do is admit her feelings and be his girlfriend.
