haven`t played this one yet, beat all the others, the forgotten sands was too easy, so far this one looks like its a little bit of a challenge, going to get it soon
IMHO this is the best one of the best in the series. Why? I have been playing PoP since the very first one (I played it on my grandma'a Amiga). This PoP (aka "the prodigy") is stunningly beautiful in terms of graphics, has atmosphere 2nd to none PoP. The playstyle is like in old prince, not many enemies but epic fights. Yea you can think its easy. I think they should make something like energy bar for Elika. And more control for Prince. Acrobatics is just X masher :)

I don't mind not 'upgrading weapons and all boss fights" because Prince of Persia should have never been about fighting anyway. PoP to me is always about the timing puzzles and the acrobatic movements. This game just needed more time puzzles to have been perfect. Beautiful game, though.

PoP 1 was easy and didnt have any challenge in it at all - PoP2 was hard it required that u had some brains and some good reflexes - the music in it was great and the combo´s was awesome - PoP3 as easy as the no. 1 - havent tried PoP4 but the fact that u cant die makes me not wanna buy it - PoP2´s the very best =)

finnished all PoP games and I think that it's better to start fresh after sands of time trilogy. PoP 4 is very different,cheery game,still liked it. although I like SoT series far more, i think that prolonging it would just make it worse... also like WW the most :D

If you have played the Oldest trilogy of PoP then you know that the serie was not used to have all that elements. Imo, This games deserves the title Prince of Persia More then the sand of time trilogy because it revives the Old play style of the old Pop from 80s and 90s

Never knew PoP was on the SNES. I played the original side-scroller ones on PC, personally. Only PoP game I played on console was Two Thrones of the Sands of Time Trilogy. Even the other two Sands of Time games, I played them on PC.

as a player of pop i believe its even impossible to walk through the ways without enemys around in 3 hours... for that you have to one-shot bosses and like 2-shot dahaka.... o.O

I love the art style in this game, prince looks cooler too. It's different from the sands of time series but still really fun in it's own way. And it has awesome music, though it doesn't always fit right in some parts.

Unlike The Sands of Time, this new girl will not need any "help" and the battles are supposed to be one on one, not hordes of enemies. Hard to do something completely new right off the bat for the fans, without messing up the entire name of the Prince of Persia. Originally, the original prince of persia, was not a persian prince (like this new prince). This new game, from the interview, the player can make choices that impacts how the story unfolds.

i wud say that when i played warrior within in 2004 for the first time, i didn't know it had an alternate ending. i played it again so recently to see that ending. POPWW is the best 4 me...let the new pop release to be judged(they say grafix engine is similar to that of Assassin's Creed's)
I loved all the POP series but this new one dosen't seems so impressive.The graphic is kinda childish and the new gameplay with Elika seems too lame. I really would expected an Unreal engine and a darker character and gameplay like POP2

Five reasons for why this does suck!
1.The prince doesn't upgrade his weapons at all,you play as the same prince from the beginning to the end.
2.Not many enemies at all,few boss rounds only!
3.Things get repetitive after a while.
4. No 'time powers' at all,no rewinding or slowing,absolutely nothing!
5 By the end of it ,you feel it was no challenge at all! Yeah! really!

Five reasons why this isn't that bad!!
1.Spectacular landscapes! Exploring places is so cool! Graphics are phenomenal!
2.Coolest acrobatics!
3.U don't die in this,okay lots of people are against this but what's so cool in dying off?it just shows you screwed it all up another time!
4.Elika is always beside you,quite a pleasant company,and u don't get lost as she is always there!
5.Gameplay is smooth,there is minimal texture popping and loading time!

trust me .. it does'nt worth 50$.
all it has is just good graphics...
and the puzzles & gameplay are so so so damn easy that even a kid can finish this game in a day. Just expect nothing except good graphics.

I love the art style in this game, prince looks cooler too. It's different from the sands of time series but still really fun in it's own way. And it has awesome music, though it doesn't always fit right in some parts.

Oh.....that doesn't sound like real "prince of persia" game....the only amazing release was "POP-worrier within" even the graphics are better than the one in "pop-4"...i think they must reconsider the graetness they achived in pop-worrier within,and do something as quality as it!!! the action in that game is limited!!! i even can't move like the way i was in worrier within! all what i got is some stupid moves that i have to fight with...ARRRRGH! Unlike The Sands of Time, this new girl will not need any "help" and the battles are supposed to be one on one, not hordes of enemies. Hard to do something completely new right off the bat for the fans, without messing up the entire name of the Prince of Persia. Originally, the original prince of persia, was not a persian prince (like this new prince). This new game, from the interview, the player can make choices that impacts how the story unfolds.

i wud say that when i played warrior within in 2004 for the first time, i didn't know it had an alternate ending. i played it again so recently to see that ending. POPWW is the best 4 me...let the new pop release to be judged(they say grafix engine is similar to that of Assassin's Creed's)
