I ate at the Food Shark three weeks ago at the end of my US holiday - it was such a relief to find something that wasn't fried! Am planning to return to Mrfa later this year, will make sure it coincides with the Food Shark being in town.
Seriously this is adorable. My husband and our kids live in Presidio and are always craving something "different", cant wait to get over there and have some yummy food!
come on up. remember, we're tuesday thru friday 11:30 - 3 only. if you're making the trip for food shark only, you might want to call and make sure we're there. 432 386 6540. thanks for the comment
My wife and I were in Marfa last week and ate at Food Shark every day. My wife wore the t-shirt to a humane society dinner in nearby Fort Davis and we met Food Shark's (or rather, Food Shark owner Adam's) dad. :-) Wonderful food. We'll be back!!
The VAlient was mine , my dad bought it for me in 1983 in N CaL from a teacher
I drove that car all through High School , it was even named "cookie" My brother in Marfa housed it untill the SHARK FOOD guys asked to buy it , HOW COOL
yeah, i bought it and fixed it up a little in 2006. didn't have keys when i got it and hadn't been started in a year and a half or more. still doesn't have reverse gear, but we like it. take it easy.
awesome music/lyrics/vocals ! will you be open over 4July ?? we will bring a norwegian among other 'foreigners'......my wife says you need a fin on the truck. we love the shark !
i was looking at the B-9 reference and i think you may have meant B-29. i did a little research, the B-9 was from 1931 and only 7 were made, way before nuclear warheads...
"The Boeing B-9 bomber was the earliest plane based on the Monomail design. It had a top speed of 186 mph and could outrun the fighters of the day by 5 mph. The monoplane bomber reached this speed although it had a five-person crew (in open cockpits) and carried a 2,400-pound bomb load." ...Boeing website
I enjoyed the tension supplied by the character of the landscape which suggested that, at any moment, a B-9 would drop some sort of warhead on your fleet. Otherwise, it was a very peaceful piece. Is that a Deerhoof song, btw? It really sounds like that singer.
#1. If you guys should win the Texas Lottery and become excessively wealthy, don't change a single thing about Food Shark.
#2. I am green with envy. My rig (attached video) doesn't have near the personality of Food Shark.
#3. How did Food Shark (and the cool classic cars) get permission to drive on the old WW2 training base? Did C. Williams give you a key to the gate? I (and my little airplane) are excessively, powerfully jealous.
You are all awesome. I miss Marfa and I miss Food Shark. I hope your team of Food Shark Superheroes will come save the planet if I call you on my phone in distress sometime. x Nina
That made me hungry. I think it was the aerial photography. Or maybe the choreography. One request, could you please add the makes and models of all the vintage cars to the credits? Did you find the escaped hubcap? That was sure fun...

My family and I were fortunate enough to find ourselves in Marfa last week, and we made a visit to the Food Shark.
Krista and Adam make the best Arabic/Mediterranean food I have had since visiting the U.A.E in the 90s.
The falafel was the tops! I really like the fact that all the drinks offered are made with real sugar onlynot that high fructose corn syrup!
My daughter is wearing out her Food Shark shirt...and thanks Adam, my truck is now plastered with Food Shark stickers!
We loved Marfa!
