When you start in the facility for the final stretch of the mission, If you retrace your steps you can pick up a weapon called the "X-Rush Rifle" It's the ultimate assault rifle in the game i think, I'll upload a video of when i collected the weapon at some point to prove it, Hopefully it'll help when others play through to get the gold star A** Rank!!

u.u my record is Normal game 1:20 no saves no sprays no plants no damage taken no cheats btw when i make that record i play resident evil 2 all days for more than 3 mounts... i kill boss with Acid Shotgun always when u need to fight boss there is a pack of 6 bullets so u dont need to take bullets or anything just run dodge and fun ^^

Nice speedrun mate, and dont take interest with the haters I have been playing this game since it first came out on the psx , had it for the N64 but cant remeber what one was out first lol anyway my point is i am a really really big RE, so much that is sad and i should be medicated pml but yeah the PAL version on normal is like a hundred times harder than the JAP version, well its easy but on a speedrun there would be a couple of retrys since you get bit once thats you on caution and so on

Although I believe Jill says he's dead if you examine him, I wouldn't doubt that he was just unconscious from blood loss. I haven't played RE3 in a while but I'm pretty sure his skin was regular color in RE3 not purple like it is when he zombifies in RE2. I think 1 of the Outbreak games explains some of the stuff like the doors being blocked.

However you could have spent 6sec to get the key to the custom parts, would have been alot faster than getting the health boost.

at the final stretch you can line up 4 zombies and kill them all with one shot!!

AARRGGH! My eyes! It's like some kind of sick import Russian capture card. I'm unfamiliar with that title screen, so I'm assuming it must be the Gamecube version or something. I don't know if I should be impressed or not since it's on JP Easy mode, but I imagine it is pretty frustrating what with the PAL-type frame rate you got going on there. Regardless, it's the best run on JP Easy that I've seen of Leon A, though not the best looking. Don't fry my eyes next time.

Solid speed run...picked up the sticks after watching this video and did normal Leon A in 1:48:57...not too bad lol. Love the RE series but yes 4 and 5 have strayed from the horror element though not so far as to be overly pissed. 4 was a great addition that brought into next generation (Gamecube and PS2 being next gen at the time lol) RE5 was a let down cause it was short (did it 6 hours 1st try) and wasn't scary at all...rumor has it they are revamping the old games...can anyone confirm?

I played them ALL, yes ALL RE games. I was one of the first people to ever play Resident Evil as a "gametester" so i'm more than familiar with the series. Yes part 4 was a letdown, but the design was not. Part 4 is "timeless" because it was a progression, a "step" forward for a growingly stagnat series that demanded expansion. But i do agree with the lacking of the "horror" element, part 1 was the only part to truly retain that theme. A "horror" theme, is the unexpected, and the setting.

RE 123.ect are all horror for the time RE4 and 5 were no horror at all and very little survival so its not a survival horror game while games like silent hill have improved on the survival horror gameplay Resident evil has made the gameplay so far from survival horror you might as well call it a 3rd person railshooter oh and 5 is a co-op railshooter not as much on rails as umbrella chronicles though
