Who ever thinks that this country doesn't need a hard hand to keep these criminals in check then they need to move to Mexico. @disclosurenow9 Actually, there is strict gun control in Mex. but you can own a gun.You people seem to misunderstand my arguement here. I own a pistol, I've had a Hunters Safety card for 30 years, my husband owns fire arms, we both have hunted (game for food). My point is just like you said--take away our ability to defend ourselves, and, yes, I am talking about even these police methods like in the video, then you have a state like Mex. I don't see why law abiding people see these as a threat.
@debweb72 because when the clamps are tightened, they'll be able to do it more effectively. Would you resist if they said "we want your guns? You won't be able to hunt for food! Think there'll be resistance?
Yes, it is a police state and a prison planet. BUT: I want them in mall parking lots. I got my pickup broken into and some expensive stuff stolen outside my favorite theater. I won't go there anymore. Put one of those things in that lot and I'll go back.
@shawnfella First of all: I have a genius level IQ, as opposed to say : you. Second of all: I am an activist and actively fight them as opposed to say :you. They don't have parking lot attendants at the lot in question or my vehicle would not have been broken into. Breakins are common there. I don't want the government to do any more than the constitution allows. I was merely pointing out the quandary, but you're too stupid to get it. I appreciate the passion, tho. We're on the same side, fool.
I don't see how this is a breach of privacy when you are in a public area. I do see this as violating a right to bear arms- that is- the illegal arms/guns that the hoods hide under their clothing to rob, steal and do whatever it takes to benefit their operations and coifers. Or maybe it's interfering in the privacy of a shoplifter who raises her skirt outside her car to unload her stash that she just stole and you and I have to pay for with inflated prices to cover these losses to the stores.
@debweb72 The problem is that this is a breach of privacy for the average citizen. With this tool everyone is going to be watched all the time. You should try living in Britan for a couple of years. You would be shocked to learn that standing on a corner for too long is considered "suspicious" activity, and a couple of officers will be sent to question you. The same thing that is happening there is going to happen here. I'm sorry you dissagree, but the truth is this:you are loosing basic freedom
@thealestar Is it going to hurt you to have police come and question you? I see it only a problem if you are doing something that is not legal. I appreciate knowing police are there so I can live life free of harm to my person & my property. Even then the criminals still find ways to work. Besides this tool is no diff than the video cameras installed on street corners, business fronts, etc
I also appreciate the police...just leave me the fuck alone if I am minding my own business....I have a big problem if I am questioned for no reason...if you want to be questioned for no reason you have no concept of what liberty really is about.
@drgonzo767 If you think being questioned is an inconvienence I hope you never have any serious issues in your life. I do know what liberty is about and it's there because of the men and women in this country who are strong enough and brave enough to get out there and fight for your right to sit there on your PC and bitch about the way they have to go about doing their jobs to keep the criminals suppressed. Whether is be the police or the military.
Typical BS response about people fighting for our right to complain...what a joke. Your argument is also a logical fallacy in that criminal suppression has nothing to do with suppressing law abiding people. Please give me a reasoned explanation of how a police officer can fight criminal activity by questioning lawful activity. Because we have given police officers the power of arrest, they have a great responsibility to respect the rights of citizens to engage in lawful behavior.
@drgonzo767 You explain to me how a police officer can just observe a person standing on a street corner & tell whether they are (a)waiting for a ride, (b)waiting for his dealer to show up, (c)out to just get some fresh air or (d)waiting for the corner store to close so he can storm it, kill the clerk & rob the drawer. And yes, you have the right to complain, I just wish you had an intellegent & valid complaint to post. Also, your 'logical' and 'fallacy' cancel each other out, get a dictionary
@debweb72 There is no need to explain, as IT IS NOT THEIR JOB NOR THEIR RIGHT to infer someone is to be questioned without probable cause. You've never heard of logical fallacies? Get a college education, hillbilly; take some classes in logic. And since the odds of you scoring anything on the SAT near an what is needed for college admission is probably south of the odds for snow in Hell, here's an easy internet start for you: Wiki for logical fallacies.
@debweb72 And one more thing...I do not live in fear of criminals. I legally conceal carry and am more than proficient in the use of a sidearm. I exercise my rights and demand my government respect my rights, which are granted to me by God and not by men.
Educate yourself, learn something about freedom and its foundation; until then, you might want to consider not making an ass of yourself.
@drgonzo767 You poor fool, you poor misguided fool. Losing your temper and resorting to name calling and insults is not a good sign of intelligence. So you have a CCL, so what, bully for you! I'm a supporter of NRA but I don't want every Tom, Dick & Harry running around playing hero vigiIantism, license or not. As for your rights by God, what rights did God grant you?
@debweb72 How is being prepared to protect myself being a bully? I don't go around flashing a gun...that is what criminals do. I am no Tom, Dick, and Harry...I am a law-abiding citizen with a Master's degree and a strong history of public service, including as a certified firefighter. I come from a family of veterans, lawmen, and firefighters, we are not outlaws. Have you not read the Declaration of Independence? It enumerates the Rights granted by God, in the second sentence!
@debweb72 Men "are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights...." You earlier played the patriot card with me, yet you have to ask what rights we are granted by God? Are you kidding? Or just ignorant? I am going with the latter. If 72 is your year of birth, it is obvious you have wasted 38 years without gaining any education of the founding principles of this great nation. I stand by my so-called "name-calling". You sir are a damn fool.
@debweb72 Jefferson said, "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty, than those attending too small a degree of it." You might want to ponder that.
@drgonzo767 Yeah, drgonzo, let's go back...guess you're right about me being a 'hillbilly'. You can preach to me about this logic crap and taking classes and life. Let me tell you, I do not want to take classes to 'learn' logic. I have learned logic through life. I have lived a hard life but not near as hard and some. I grew up butchering chickens, branding cattle, bucking hay bales, hunting deer and elk, bathing in an old wash tub & utilized a 2 holer behind that chicken coop. con't...
@drgonzo767 Yes, I may be ignorant but I am not stupid. I debate through what I believe & what I grew up with not through insults & babble. I appreciate your background and I thank you and your family for their service. It is quite impressive. If I may say, I also have a commendable family history adding that my 5th great-grandfather Francis Lightfoot Lee signed the Declaration of Independence (he was a farmer-guess I come by 'hillbilly' honestly). FYI 72 is my HS grad year.
@drgonzo767 I am a patriotic, down to earth, hard working, home owner that appreciates the luxury of feeling safe in my community thanks to our outstanding police department...no matter what means they practice to allow me, my friends and neighbors this security.
@drgonzo767 drgonzo, I have finally disclosed some personal information but I must say that all of your feedback through this whole issue is all about you. I have not once read where you represented 'we'. This greatly disappoints me for I know you are an intelligent person but are only self serving. And this, Sir, is my logic as illiterate as it may be. Sign me 'Mrs.' Debweb thank you very much
@debweb72 I have represented "we" many times: WE have a right to liberty as granted by God. Read what our Founders said and what influenced them. I too appreciate honest police, but I have also witnessed what can only be called a move by many police agencies to flush the Bill of Rights and take on the nature of a quasi military force. It disturbs me deeply. Looks like both our families helped found this great nation. I can trace one side of my family to Plymouth, and one to colonial VA.
@debweb72 My ancestors fought in the Revolution. My great-great-great grandfather was an early abolitionist, a Primitive Baptist minister in Indiana (Little Pigeon Creek Baptist Church, look it up) and was minister to Thomas Lincoln and family, including the young Abraham. Thomas helped to build the church. Obviously, I grew up with great pride and interest in the history of this nation. I have intently studied the philosophies on which the idea of liberty were founded.
@debweb72 I apologize for calling you a hillbilly. I am just frustrated with our citizenry today that is ignorant of the concepts of liberty and that are willing to trade security for their freedom. Our people have become woefully uneducated and it will be the downfall of our nation. I also have spent a lot of time hunting and fishing, BTW. And I have moved more hay than I care to remember. One can get an education, be a professional, and still live an agrarian life. :)
Listen to all you griping people. You must never had your car broken into & all your hard earned purchases stolen or been molested in some way or had someone back into your car & drive away. If you are law abiding you have nothing to worry about so quit the complaining! They are trying to protect you & your property. I'm tired of you whiners who think the police are out to get us all & whining about the techniques they have to use to curtail the criminals.
Can run for 5 days... but how often does the man up top gotta take a dump? Supposed the operator woofed down a bad donut with an unsettling cup of coffee? All the electronic amenities in the world won't save the tower from an internal blow out without a toilet. Talk about claustrophobic cabin fever...no athletic law officer would want to sit in this prison all day long. Enter jaba the hut, paid in doritos with an eye for but scratchers, booger pickers, and jock adjusters. All in a days work.
@thealestar Of course you're right... Those who are awake can spot the true use of this garbage on sight... Hopefully, the sheeple wake up en mass soon!
Thanks for sharing this information here. Looks like another huge waste of money. I live in one of the most dangerous cities in North America = Saint Louis Mo. The city is broke, drunk drivers, unemployment, violent crime, & drug abuse are huge problems I could reduce the crime & save the city millions every year = Get rid of half of the patrol cars, make the damn cops walk a beat, & lock up the perps! NYC found that successfully reduced NYC crime problem in the 90's.
Do these donut sucking, bullhorn yoyo's, actually think this is going to scare us into submission? They make out that this is "for our own good or safetey". Once again, another example that their destruction is our salvation.
More that a little creepy. I saw a cop give someone a jay walking ticket this morning who was using a crosswalk. Police don't make me feel safe or secure these days.
@pwpg0516 Yeah, totally like Nazis. Remember when the Arizona police rounded up all those Jews and took them to extermination camps back in September, and how the police in North Carolina invaded and annexed Poland and the Sudetenland, destabilizing the security of the neighbouring countries in Europe?
They will just sue you for being intimidated. lol knowing them. That is how fraud and criminals work. How dare you defend yourself? You hurt my feelings. lol Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

My point is just like you said--take away our ability to defend ourselves, and, yes, I am talking about even these police methods like in the video, then you have a state like Mex. I don't see why law abiding people see these as a threat.
debweb72 1 year ago
@debweb72 because when the clamps are tightened, they'll be able to do it more effectively. Would you resist if they said "we want your guns? You won't be able to hunt for food! Think there'll be resistance?
a2zhandi 2 months ago
Yes, it is a police state and a prison planet. BUT: I want them in mall parking lots. I got my pickup broken into and some expensive stuff stolen outside my favorite theater. I won't go there anymore. Put one of those things in that lot and I'll go back.
theronmarz 1 year ago
@theronmarz
All that I can say dude is... you are a moron.
The police state is here because of people like you.
Ever hear of a parking lot attendant?
America is filled with sissy former men... Nancy-boys, cowardly fools.
You need the government to hold your hand.
You're pathetic.
shawnfella 1 year ago 9
@shawnfella First of all: I have a genius level IQ, as opposed to say : you. Second of all: I am an activist and actively fight them as opposed to say :you. They don't have parking lot attendants at the lot in question or my vehicle would not have been broken into. Breakins are common there. I don't want the government to do any more than the constitution allows. I was merely pointing out the quandary, but you're too stupid to get it. I appreciate the passion, tho. We're on the same side, fool.

Are you not getting this?
What is WRONG with everybody?
These people need to be sued criminally, and they need to be put in a cage... preferably with hungry lions.
Come on America. COME ON.
WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see how this is a breach of privacy when you are in a public area. I do see this as violating a right to bear arms- that is- the illegal arms/guns that the hoods hide under their clothing to rob, steal and do whatever it takes to benefit their operations and coifers. Or maybe it's interfering in the privacy of a shoplifter who raises her skirt outside her car to unload her stash that she just stole and you and I have to pay for with inflated prices to cover these losses to the stores.
debweb72 1 year ago
@debweb72 The problem is that this is a breach of privacy for the average citizen. With this tool everyone is going to be watched all the time. You should try living in Britan for a couple of years. You would be shocked to learn that standing on a corner for too long is considered "suspicious" activity, and a couple of officers will be sent to question you. The same thing that is happening there is going to happen here. I'm sorry you dissagree, but the truth is this:you are loosing basic freedom
thealestar 1 year ago 2
@thealestar Is it going to hurt you to have police come and question you? I see it only a problem if you are doing something that is not legal. I appreciate knowing police are there so I can live life free of harm to my person & my property. Even then the criminals still find ways to work. Besides this tool is no diff than the video cameras installed on street corners, business fronts, etc
debweb72 1 year ago
@debweb72
I also appreciate the police...just leave me the fuck alone if I am minding my own business....I have a big problem if I am questioned for no reason...if you want to be questioned for no reason you have no concept of what liberty really is about.
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@drgonzo767 If you think being questioned is an inconvienence I hope you never have any serious issues in your life. I do know what liberty is about and it's there because of the men and women in this country who are strong enough and brave enough to get out there and fight for your right to sit there on your PC and bitch about the way they have to go about doing their jobs to keep the criminals suppressed. Whether is be the police or the military.
debweb72 1 year ago
@debweb72
Typical BS response about people fighting for our right to complain...what a joke. Your argument is also a logical fallacy in that criminal suppression has nothing to do with suppressing law abiding people. Please give me a reasoned explanation of how a police officer can fight criminal activity by questioning lawful activity. Because we have given police officers the power of arrest, they have a great responsibility to respect the rights of citizens to engage in lawful behavior.
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@drgonzo767 You explain to me how a police officer can just observe a person standing on a street corner & tell whether they are (a)waiting for a ride, (b)waiting for his dealer to show up, (c)out to just get some fresh air or (d)waiting for the corner store to close so he can storm it, kill the clerk & rob the drawer. And yes, you have the right to complain, I just wish you had an intellegent & valid complaint to post. Also, your 'logical' and 'fallacy' cancel each other out, get a dictionary
debweb72 1 year ago
@debweb72 There is no need to explain, as IT IS NOT THEIR JOB NOR THEIR RIGHT to infer someone is to be questioned without probable cause. You've never heard of logical fallacies? Get a college education, hillbilly; take some classes in logic. And since the odds of you scoring anything on the SAT near an what is needed for college admission is probably south of the odds for snow in Hell, here's an easy internet start for you: Wiki for logical fallacies.
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@debweb72 And one more thing...I do not live in fear of criminals. I legally conceal carry and am more than proficient in the use of a sidearm. I exercise my rights and demand my government respect my rights, which are granted to me by God and not by men.
Educate yourself, learn something about freedom and its foundation; until then, you might want to consider not making an ass of yourself.
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@drgonzo767 You poor fool, you poor misguided fool. Losing your temper and resorting to name calling and insults is not a good sign of intelligence. So you have a CCL, so what, bully for you! I'm a supporter of NRA but I don't want every Tom, Dick & Harry running around playing hero vigiIantism, license or not. As for your rights by God, what rights did God grant you?
debweb72 1 year ago
@debweb72 How is being prepared to protect myself being a bully? I don't go around flashing a gun...that is what criminals do. I am no Tom, Dick, and Harry...I am a law-abiding citizen with a Master's degree and a strong history of public service, including as a certified firefighter. I come from a family of veterans, lawmen, and firefighters, we are not outlaws. Have you not read the Declaration of Independence? It enumerates the Rights granted by God, in the second sentence!
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@debweb72 Men "are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights...." You earlier played the patriot card with me, yet you have to ask what rights we are granted by God? Are you kidding? Or just ignorant? I am going with the latter. If 72 is your year of birth, it is obvious you have wasted 38 years without gaining any education of the founding principles of this great nation. I stand by my so-called "name-calling". You sir are a damn fool.
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@debweb72 Jefferson said, "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty, than those attending too small a degree of it." You might want to ponder that.

@drgonzo767 Yeah, drgonzo, let's go back...guess you're right about me being a 'hillbilly'. You can preach to me about this logic crap and taking classes and life. Let me tell you, I do not want to take classes to 'learn' logic. I have learned logic through life. I have lived a hard life but not near as hard and some. I grew up butchering chickens, branding cattle, bucking hay bales, hunting deer and elk, bathing in an old wash tub & utilized a 2 holer behind that chicken coop. con't...

Sign me 'Mrs.' Debweb thank you very much
debweb72 1 year ago
@debweb72 I have represented "we" many times: WE have a right to liberty as granted by God. Read what our Founders said and what influenced them. I too appreciate honest police, but I have also witnessed what can only be called a move by many police agencies to flush the Bill of Rights and take on the nature of a quasi military force. It disturbs me deeply. Looks like both our families helped found this great nation. I can trace one side of my family to Plymouth, and one to colonial VA.
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@debweb72 My ancestors fought in the Revolution. My great-great-great grandfather was an early abolitionist, a Primitive Baptist minister in Indiana (Little Pigeon Creek Baptist Church, look it up) and was minister to Thomas Lincoln and family, including the young Abraham. Thomas helped to build the church. Obviously, I grew up with great pride and interest in the history of this nation. I have intently studied the philosophies on which the idea of liberty were founded.
drgonzo767 1 year ago
@debweb72 I apologize for calling you a hillbilly. I am just frustrated with our citizenry today that is ignorant of the concepts of liberty and that are willing to trade security for their freedom. Our people have become woefully uneducated and it will be the downfall of our nation. I also have spent a lot of time hunting and fishing, BTW. And I have moved more hay than I care to remember. One can get an education, be a professional, and still live an agrarian life. :)
drgonzo767 1 year ago
