As a stroke (Sept. 6, 2008) survivor who originally, at ago 60, had serious hemiplegia -- my entire right side was completely paralyzed and I was unable to talk -- I was told, time after time, that I would NOT be able to do one thing after another that I am now certainly able to do! this gives me more hope, i've had drop foot for 3.5 years now and i have never owned a brace that i have liked, but when ever i told my dr. my foot hurts wearing the brace and i havent gained any muscle and i feel it's messing up my foot more, he just doesnt care and acts like theres nothing else to do. So lately i been doing my own research and im finding out that he is just lazy and doesn't truly care for his patients. so im gonna seatch and not give up hope!!
