Raping anyone is forbbiden in Islam and the criminal would be subject to the severest of punishment. As for killing it is only permissable under certain circumstances where Allah has permitted. Killing of persons based on religion is Forbidden under Islamic Law. I would ask those individuals to produce proof in the Quran and Sunnah as well as from righteous "credible" scholars of the past and present for their stance.

Excuse me, but atheists aren't your problem. Religion's worst enemy is itself. Throughout history, most crimes against Christians have been perpetrated by other religions, but even more so by other denominations of Christianity.
You're right about one thing, atheists tend to be scared shitless of dying, but if everyone believed this was their only life, they'd be more keen to preserve the one they have, and wouldn't go to war unless there was no better option.

2) Well, Spain happens to be pretty far away from Arabic countries. On the wrong side of Europe for muslims. Christians lived well in Iraq before the USA took out Saddam (or at least relatively well compared to how they live now). This abuse is a direct result of the war.

Apologists in the West often shrug off the Qur'an's many verses of violence by saying that they are only relevant in a time of war.

The message in the video seems to have gone astray in this forum, which was about Muslims killing Christians, Christians who are Iraqis and not "Westerners". The finger may be pointed at the US which has "enabled" a chaotic situation. Where chaos reigns or wher Muslims can persecute others of a different faith they will do it. Muslims are fighting Hindus in India, Bhuddists in Thailand. These people are not from the West, neither are they Christians, nor has the US caused the situations there.

I have heard of people being attacked because they are Muslim in America. It happens rarely but it does happen. However, it it is disingenuous to argue that Muslims in the US face the same perils as Christians in Iraq. It is not even nearly the same.
And I can guarantee you that nowadays if you are black and get physically attacked in a church it will be at the hands of another black person.

The level of violence against people of color in the USA has and always be an embarrassment. And the level of violence against Muslim Americans, and even those suspect of being Muslims, is inexcusable.
However, it is not epidemic.
I will treat what is going on in Guantanamo and other foreign prisons as a separate issue....because it is. And as for those who are legitimate terror suspects...well I think the US is doing the right police actions there. But I don't condone torture.
