I met Joe Walsh at a local guitar store here in Columbia, MO once. It was during the Eagles' last tour, and I didn't even know it was him until he left, and the store owner told me who I was talking to. Real nice guy. It means a lot to me (even though I don't care for the Eagles) that a made guy like him talked to some snot nosed teenager (at the time) like me, and didn't have a big ego-trip or anything. I have been a fan ever since.

@FlyingFooBalls Because I play by ear and really don't dabble much in alternate tuning. There are a number of keys the song *can* be played in, but they just don't quite sound right. Once I saw the drop-D tuning, it clicked.
