Awesome. This was a fun little game, and making the bonus question in the area of the contestant's expertise must've really gotten some decisions going.
I MCed at a comedy club in the early 90s. Frank was our favorite comedian by far. He was the only one to actually come back for a second time (at least when I was there).
I'm glad he cleared his debt and more(I could use a show like this) and went on to host Street Smarts. Look forward to hearing more from him in the future.
Nice work Frank Nicotero; you're out of debt and got an okay cREER GOING YOUR WAY. tHE get out of debt PORTION of the round was nothing special in terms of originality; 10 in 60 seconds is often the standerd bonus round. The BET YOUR DEBT portion was a bit awkward. You walk out with money and yet all of your hard work will be wiped out. So I would say this whole show is a good idea, at least there is no emotional family account to this like extreme makeover or Deal or no Deal. Wink, 5 stars.
this is the only time that i actually recall some1 managing to knock enough off their debt in the front game so that they actually would have a chance to win enough to be out of debt even if they didn't win the 1st half of the bonus round. (i say that because he knocked $4,250 off. and his original debt was $7,053, if he had lost and managed to double the $4,250 he would still have won $8,500.)
i didn't care about how much he would have to spend. (i was just saying that he still would've done it anyway.) btw, does any1 know for sure whether this was the only time that happened.) (i didn't watch the show every day, (in fact i had to sneak it most of the time, because my mom never allowed me to watch it.) her opinion was that i watched enough game shows i didn't need to watch anymore.)
Frank's a good player. I gotta find some of his comedy records.

How much does anyone figure that a $200 or $500 1996 issue U.S. Savings Bond is worth these days? Would it have reached maturity yet?

Gee with those smarts he should have won a million those cheap bastards!

He only wanted to get out of debt. He doesn't care about winning 7 figures worth of cash. 5 figures are enough for him.

shows how things can turn around, Frank was $7K in debt, he won $14k and now he's become a semi-successful comedian.
