Ragan admits he doesn't have good relationships with people outside the house, while Rachel does. When Rachel challenged anything about him, he just labeled it homophobic. He has no relationship with his 4 brothers, his relationship with Britney was superficial because they just trashed Rachel, it never went to a deep level. Rachel was strong and independent, something Ragan knows he isn't. After Rachel's simple comment, Ragan just went off on her. He burst the bubble he built.
After those nasty insults he made towards Rachel, I started to really question his character. He was attacking her acne and appearance? What about all the other people with acne. He was attacking her constantly because of things she couldn't control. I don't think anyone deserves what Rachel went through. And he labelled her homophobic! Ragan will be shocked to find out Janelle likes Rachel better than Ragan!
