i'm a gothic and i have been kicked to i had a brainwash it was before this happend i was thinking at myself at the moment that i have heard that this was happend! what if i was dead to? i have buy a band with her name on directly!
YES, POOR HUMANS, THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE HOW HUMANITY DISTROYS ITSELF...POOR SOPHIE, ANGELA, PETER, AHMED, CHAN, BRANDON,MARIA,TAMAS ....AND MANY MORE WHO DIED IN EARLY STAGE OF THEIR LIFE....THEY WERE DIFFERENT BY SEX, NATIONALITY, RELIGION, COLOUR. BUT THEY HAD SOMETHING COMMON..THINKING....INTELIGENCE.
THEY WERE TOO BRIGHT PEOPLE TO LIVE IN OUR WORLD. WE DO NOT DESERVE THEM.WE SHOULD BLAME OURSELVES. THIS WORLD WILL DISSAPEAR ,WARS, NATURAL DISASTERS ,IS A MATTER OF TIME. SADLY...
this was a beautiful short film and so very sad! sophie lives on in a little of all of us because some way or another we are all different .
the foundation is reaching to all of us throughout the world and that is something to proud of and most of all something sophie would be so very proud of!
well done to her friends and family ! and sophie u are one very special remembered soul!!
my heart breaks for the loss of this girl's life..such a tragic event. It scares me that intolerance is so alive and kicking in our society,..these mindless, unprovoked attacks on good people who are simply getting on with life and exercising their right to simply be themselves, (Mum of two beautiful, kind +creative, alternative daughters, Auckland NZ)
what a beautiful tribute to such a beautiful angel RIP Sophie, I heard your mum speak last and she is truely inspirtational. such a pity such good has to come from such evil.
It's a tragic story. It's good to send a message in response to the mindless violence. In New Zealand some people joke about hating 'Emos', a guy went past me once with an 'Emo Hunter" sticker across his windscreen. I thought: "What have Emos ever done to hurt anyone?"
I was there at Manchester when they showed the film. I travelled all the way from Wiltshire to come to that event. It's a good thing the film is reaching schools and will encourage the kids to accept people who choose to dress differently.
I couldn't fight the tears from rolling down. It is so sad that she is gone for being her self nothing more and no one should repress who they are out of fear. But she will always live in the hearts of more then just the ppl that know her. I live in the us and her story reached me all the way in the states. She has a light on this planet not just in her home land.
@cheryllovesrobert it reached me too.i live in the states and always wear my band with her name on it.i always have people from here asking me what sophie means.and i tell them all and all thats become of the story.
goodnight

I wish that they would play this film in American schools, as well.

It's cliche me saying this, but this would be what she wanted. I hope she's happy, knowing that her sacrifice for Maltby wasn't in vain.
I hope Maltby agrees with the film. It must have struck him worst of all
RIP Sophie

I almost cried again. The film was so heartbreaking, and to see this stirred up those emotions again. I'm putting this on Facebook
