Friedman is not wasting his talent... hes exploting over Heavy Metal (i used to listen this genre in the 80s, but now im a full listener of JMusic) I know what Friedman thinks about the whole music world, so i agree what hes doing: just a new experience to new music. Here we can see a total wastye of talent: 2 amazing guitarists (Pata from X-Japan and Marty from Megadeth) and an amazing drummer (Shinya from Luna Sea, he's insane) playing with a terrible singer/songwriter. I love japanese music, but Aikawa sucks so much.

Maybe you're right, isn't anything wrong with having fun, but Aikawa needs to work better with the musicians she hire, after all they just touring with her because of the money (tell You-san that). Man, Marty e Pata can create better riff's than that, even for popish songs, believe me. She just fail in see that she can use that big talent for makin' better songs. Sorry, is good to play simple songs, but first need to be good songs, and Break Out is not a good song.

well... it's more than money. For one, Shinya is a pretty good friend of Nanase (and to a certain extent, Marty Friedman too). Hell, they even go to Japanese TV shows together. I do agree Nanase can make greater use of the musicians she hires, though this is one of her most popular songs and is a 'classic' among Nanase fans. BTW, her new stuffs are a lot different from this song.

This is certainly not on my playlist...but compare it to something corporate, and my chemical romance....I can honestly say...and im being 100% honest here- This is better than some of the garbage music that comes out nowadays in the US...lol @ Japanese singers though..I can never keep a straight face listening to this. Keep in mind that this isnt Martys sole concentration...Listen to loudspeaker..I think all Martys solo cds are up to par and depict his full talents.
