His timing is a bit off, but I like his falsetto and how he switches quickly between it and a bass voice. And I don't mean how he sped up the tempo and added a swing beat, I mean he misses some entrances and jumps the gun on others. Farther into the song the timing gets better, though.

I am a Blunt fan myself, but that doesn't make it impossible for me to look at this cover objectively. Personally, I find that there's a lot more feeling in James' interpretation of the song. This arrangement adds a really dreamy tune to the song, and for the first time I listened to the lyrics instead of whistling and drums. I honestly am put really off by the original version, because I find it loud and the whistling doesn't do the trick for me. Especially seeing as the lyrics are great.
