Between the Rhyme, Rezound and RAZR, I would prefer to own the Rezound for its excellent performance, 4G and superb display. The new version of the RAZR, called the RAZR Maxx, has a huge battery for long battery life... that's cool. And the Rhyme has some neat accessories, but it's 3G and a little small for my taste.

Your next question is probably going to be: Can I use it outside the US? The answer to that is probably "no" -- the Rhyme uses CDMA technology and you probably have GSM where you are. The Rhyme does not have a SIM slot and it can't be made to work on GSM systems.

Wirefly sells only the standard retail package. BTW, the Rhyme is at a great price right now on Wirefly. Take a look at Wirefly (dot) com.

@missdavid No, Wirefly sells only inside the US. The phones we sell are all US versions and locked to carriers in the US. Since the Rhyme is a 3G (CDMA) phone for Verizon, it will not work in most countries that use GSM technology. (Most of the world uses GSM cellular technology.)

@ispucian I showed everything that comes in the box. The HTC Rhyme comes with docking station but not "car speakers." Of course, the Rhyme has bluetooth capability, but it does not come with a bluetooth headset.

@duhkee1 The Rhyme is a good phone with excellent accessories. It's not the most powerful or biggest phone, but it is good.

As for the iPhone 4S, I just posted a "Schmackdown" video comparing it to the Samsung Epic 4G Touch. I will probably not be doing a review of the iPhone 4S, since Wirefly does not sell it.

@PerfectlyImperfectTN At this time, the HTC Rhyme comes only in that color (burgundy or "merlot"). You could get a case for the Rhyme, but then it would probably not work with the docking station.

@kingofthelazy121 I'm a guy and the color doesn't bother me at all. I wouldn't want a hot pink phone, but any other color is okay with me. The Rhyme's color is a dark maroon, and it doesn't scream "girlie" to me. If you're a fan of a sports team that wears maroon (e.g., Washington Redskins, Virgina Tech), you'll fit right in.

@barsexual I haven't used the Rhyme enough to confirm battery life, but I expect it to be pretty good. The Rhyme has a relatively large battery (1600 mAh) and a relatively small display (3.7 inches), which should result in good battery life. Of course, how you use a phone ultimately determines the battery life.

@y2raza The DROID Incredible 2 has a 4-inch display (Rhyme has 3.7-inch), 8MP camera (Rhyme has 5MP), they are different sizes and weights, and have a few other differences. And not everyone has the same definition of "cheesy" but you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Hi Bob, if you have a Droid Incredible 2 on hand would you see if the charm accessory works with it? i noticed the piece on the jack's casing that i'm sure is there to keep the accessory from being used on other devices but the Rhyme and the Droid Incredible 2 seem like similar enough devices that it might just work.

@KingKurogiii The HTC people told us a couple weeks ago that the only other phone the charm works in is the new HTC Vigor, which is due out in a week or two. It's my understanding that HTC will make future phones compatible with the charm, but will not be able to do it for older phones. I have a meeting with HTC later today and will ask more about this.

@KingKurogiii The HTC rep who was here covers HTC phones for T-Mobile. She said that there is no plan at the moment to make future HTC/T-Mobile Android phones be compatible with the charm. She said that it will be Verizon-only for at least a while. I suspect that this is a way for HTC to see if there is any interest, and it will be adopted quickly if it proves popular.
