Because he was pretty much a paranoid schizophrenic who literally heard voices in his head, thought Pantera came to visit him back in high school and thought the band read his mind and stole his lyrics from him. He was in the military, but was discharged basically for being crazy. His own mother bought him a handgun because she was proud of him. It almost wasn't his fault, but nonetheless, I'm glad he was decapitated via a 12 gauge shotgun.
