I think the stator magnets need to spin through friction from the rotor. The free spinning allows them to become out of synch. Set them up with the proper deflection then let it rip.
If your going to build a magnet generator, try making it work without someone always having to spin it. Otherwise its as useful as a plain rotor. I know how to stop it counter-repelling, which I won't give away, cause its my idea.

It pertains to large scale fluid dynamics and has very little (almost none) force. things in small systems, ie a toilet, have such a small force the swirling direction from north to south hemisphere can be directed in either direction. Since we are not talking about a fluid system here, it would only be demonstrated by putting a marble near the center of the spinning disc and track it.

Don't be fooled by the progressively spaced rotor type either. They will never make more than one rev on their own. The power needed to lift the mags away will always excede that produced by the rotor. The human hand moving the gate magnets actually powers the rotor on those machines. Magnetic attraction reduces by the square of the distance. Enough attraction to align with 1magnet is also enough too much to let it go because of the square function of distance. The one twice as close has 4 times the attraction. There's never enought o get the next one close.
How about we start with a lifetime of study and practical application of these laws. The magnet engine I'm working on uses a principal very similar to the Perendev. Please be advised, a drive that has no moving parts, such as a pressure-jet or rocket is a motor. If it has moving, interactive parts, it's an engine. Magnetsmotorman prolly has a good idea, but lack of funding and depression can be the downfall of innovators The center core of my project is almost ready, but the outer stator rings need a lot of work yet. Look up Tom Beardon for some good advice on magnetic switching

No red herring here sir. Just a different way of understanding something. It has been theorized that mass only comes about from the interaction of the higgs boson with the vaccum of infinte energy.
One correction all particles would be moving at the speed of light were it not for this invisible all pervasive ocean of "energy".

engineers are limited to what they are taught in corprate sponsored school. I know "physics" well the are always rewriting the laws of physics. Inventions are what made this world great. I would bet all great inventors were thought to be wasting their time. Keep up the good work and don't let the skleptics stop you.

Hey, I'm all for experimentation. But no alchemist ever found a way to make gold out of lead by trial and error. I'm just saying it's a shame that people waste their time when they could be doing something useful.
This is the same as putting a generator on the front wheel of a bicycle, and a motor on the rear wheel, connecting the two and saying that it doesn't run forevery yet because you just haven't found the right winding ratios.

Most of the greatest minds of the enlightenment were alchemists. It s a shame that so few understand what alchemy actually is. The lead that is being turned into gold isn t physical it s the minds.
The greater stone is the refinement of the mind to understanding of all interconnections. Newton spent far more time writing about alchemy then he did about physics.
Not to mention the fact that modern chemistry is derived from alchemy.

Don't be fooled by the progressively spaced rotor type either. They will never make more than one rev on their own. The power needed to lift the mags away will always excede that produced by the rotor. The human hand moving the gate magnets actually powers the rotor on those machines. It's an alluring idea but it can't work. It's not a put down, just physics. Your motor is a great teaching tool though. Write me offline if you wish.

Start with the FACT that force is not power.
Magnetic attraction reduces by the square of the distance. Enough attraction to align with 1magnet is also enough too much to let it go because of the square function of distance. The one twice as close has 4 times the attraction. There's never enought o get the next one close.

How about we start with a lifetime of study and practical application of these laws. Also, just because"all the laws of the universe havn't been discovered" implies there are laws. and the laws we do know prove this motor CANNOT run. To everyone involved in magnet motors: Permanent magnets do not generate or store power. All they do is exert a force. They do not store electricity. The same force that turns the wheel a short distance is equally trying to stop it. If you learn this, the project was worth it.

The failure to rotate on it's own is not due to having the wrong magnets, spacing or position. It's due to trying to violate the basic laws of the universe. Overunity is impossible. If it was possible, you could use the cheapest mags in the world and it would work. Or you could just buy some physics books. Nice job on the model though.

I've seen multiple of these attempts now.
Seem the magnets on the big rotor should be spaced consistently, and matching the distance/circumference of the surrounding magnets, or slightly off to compensate for friction?

The magnet engine I'm working on uses a principal very similar to the Perendev. Please be advised, a drive that has no moving parts, such as a pressure-jet or rocket is a motor. If it has moving, interactive parts, it's an engine. Magnetsmotorman prolly has a good idea, but lack of funding and depression can be the downfall of innovators The center core of my project is almost ready, but the outer stator rings need a lot of work yet. Look up Tom Beardon for some good advice on magnetic switching

I have designed a magnet motor that does not need shielding and does not need any help to start rotating with a battery or by hand and is not a clam shell stator. mine will produce without stopping 25KW in the following demensions 12" dia by 25" long!
I have configured a much better Unit. I commend you for your efforts

I know this might get ripped apart, what with the laws of thermodynamics etc, but could you not link the small wheel with the axel of the large wheel with the right ratio of cogs or something that will spin the small wheel in the right time to meet the magnet on the large wheel.
