  • what all did you do to get yours too run that good?

did you have to get an bigger intercooler? or aftermarket bov?

i got a 60 trim t04b turbo on my supra, got the polished header, and 40mm external wastegate but my car runs like crap..it did run good for a few days and was strong but now my check engine light always comes on and it is because of the boost pressure? idk if i maybe need a bigger intercooler or what..or maybe i just have a leak in my intercooler piping that i cant find..idk.

  • @supracrazy34 Im guessing you still have either a stock or lexus afm. If it seems to cut out at wot you are probably hitting fuel cut. If so you would either need to get something to tune it or turn your boost down.

  • you can tell that supra was pulling real hard

the rosary looked like it was hit by a constant gust of wind lol

just bought a supra last week,

already put some hard pipe, greddy bov and k/n intake

i love the way these cars drive and handle

  • why did you do a 10degree clip. imo the 60 trim turbo is too big for our motors anyway and with an exhaust clip its just gonna spool later. i went with a 57 trim and no clip and it will hold 18psi all day and most likley spool faster...you got a bithicn set up though

  • @DirtridinElCamino I got a 57 trim with a 10degree clip and it still spools 16psi at 2900 rpms lol... I think its cause my homemade boost controller. How well does that bleeding off the wastegate work?

  • @DirtridinElCamino so the 60 trim turbos aren't compatible with the 7mgte engines at all? nothing can make them? without drastic changes?

  • any idea of power output???

  • The stock CT-26 is it's most effective around 12 lbs, I haven't used the 60-1 trim yet. Still rebuilding the moter in my MKIII, had a cracked ring when I bought it!

  • Yeah, it's really only recommended you get a 57 trim CT26, as a 60 will only have issues down the road.

  • all a ct26 60-1 turbo is, is a stock ct26 with a bigger turbine on the inlet side

  • Wrong...

The upgrade consists of sending your stock turbo off to a shop, and having them bore out the compressor inlet to fit a larger compressor wheel into the CT26. Generally, T04e wheels are used, though I have heard of T04b wheels being used. Bang for the buck, it is hard to beat the upgraded CT26.

  • damn stock ct26..thats sounds great...Sounds like you scared the lady friend..lol..

  • i just finish installing my ddp, man its oudns so good especially when that wastegate opens, it sounds like a big single lol

  • what ru talking about, the ct26 is HUGE!! hahah kidding :P I get my 87 supra turbo in less than 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yeah 18psi should be enough dont go too farr.

  • yep

  • I read your post down a little, how well does the CT26 60-1 Trim's hold boost? Im afriad they wont be able to run the 18-20lbs i plan on pushing.

  • My CT26 60-1 trim spikes to 21 psi then drops down to 18 psi then it holds it to 18 psi. So I guess 18 psi shouldn't be a problem. 18 psi is good enough. I have 285/45/17 Nitto 555's on the back and I still spin first gear and a little fishtail on second gear.

  • Nice. Im actually thinking about going with a SP61GT Dual BallBearing turbo. Its a little more money, well a bit, but well worth the price. Ive heard nothing but bad things about CT26 60-1's (breaking, leaking boost) The turbo has been expanded so much the walls are like paper.

  • @Suprafast at 18 psi, a ct-26 is pushing a lot of warm air be careful with that...but it pull out 300 rwhp with stock setup (only injectors, fmic 2.5 with ssqv bv, lexus maf and boost controller) this car rocks

  • Nice, only thing i dont like about the BIC DDP's are how they have that weird sound at idle. Id much rather go with a TMS Turbo back DP. Thats what im about to get for mine. Only problem is buying the TMS turbo back DP isnt going to work when i get my SP61 Turbo. Eh.

  • Wow i would seriously ditch that stock airbox. Y dont you do an apexi filter? even if you made ducting from the fogligh or below the headlight.

  • damn sounds like a tornado. very nice mk3

  • damn that car pulled hard

  • Love Jesus swinging away there. LOL

  • what else is on ur setup??? that car pulled like a champ... thats what i'm plannin to do... nice

  • I have SAFC2 not tuned yet. RC 550cc inj., Lexus AFM, Aeromotive AFPR, 2mm HKS HG, ARP Head studs, HKS BOV, Spearco IC and hard pipes, divorced downpipe, CT26 60-1 w/ 10 deg. clip., Walbro 255lph fuel pump, Stock air box w/ K&N drop in air filter. No boost controller I'm bleeding my wastgate hose and it's boosting 16 psi. That's pretty much it on my engine.

  • Stock internals?

  • always nice to see the mk3s.

  • that turbo sounds like a demon. car pulled very strong for a 60-1. nice work.

  • SWEET! haven't seen this one up... nice shit brotha..
