  • Sooooo sexxxxxyyyyyyy !!!!

  • Just realised that this is 'Lady' by Styx

  • Chuck is a cutie

  • Funnest job of all time: FNM bassist.

  • @bigbowlofcereal1 - arklowrockz wrote:

"Band were ready to cross over in to mainstream in '88, Chuck had to go. Too bad.

Anyone know why Anne's Song hasnt been included on any Best Of's over the years??"

corrected him on it not being on any "Best Of's"

  • Vinnie you're always hungry man, get away from that fridge NOW! - love that lyric.

  • Love this old school fnm....what what what uh....

  • Old skool FNM RULES!!!

  • No other way to put it. I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG!

  • Band were ready to cross over in to mainstream in '88, Chuck had to go. Too bad.

Anyone know why Anne's Song hasnt been included on any Best Of's over the years??

BTW the last time I heard Jim Martin he was jamming with Metallica in 1998, where he be these days??

  • @arklowrockz He's a pumpkin farmer. I'm not joking.

  • @arklowrockz Anne's song was on a Best Of album; "This Is It: The Best of Faith No More"

  • @Schloonktapooxis It was on Introduce Yourself.

  • As much as I prefer and love FNM's Mike PAtton days...I love this song...the whole thing just gels really well together. Plus, this is testament to Jim Martin being one of those few guitarists that actually plays a solo that is perfect for the tune...not one note too many or too less. Gutted when he left them.

  • 0:04 Chris Pontius (jackass)

  • 0:19 fox mulder from the x-files

  • @ulverup HAHAHAHAHAH

  • this is the only song that i prefer Mosley singing

  • I love that song! Guess why :))

  • Mosley is alter-ego of Roland Gift hahaha.

  • Mosley is hot. I love his attitude.

  • fuck! I just found this song a few days ago, listening to it everyday lol

    god bless the 90s

  • @LikeTheSunIAmOne what ya talking about 90's, its from 87', released in 88' , 80s funk ;)

  • @rhythm2007mc

    you're right.

I only have a couple of songs with such funky bass, do u know any other songs/bands that sound like this? (besides early chili peppers stuff)

  • @LikeTheSunIAmOne You do know chili peppers were inspired by fnm. You might like to check out Mike Pattons other work. Tomahawk - god hates a coward, has good bass riffs. For bass you might also like megadeth dawn patrol. I will have to check thru my tunes. Is it funk ya after or just good bass tunes in general???

  • @rhythm2007mc

Yeah I heard a couple of mike patton's projects, including tomahawk.

I want 80's funk! not really into early 60/70's funk...

    hey look for:

Missing Link by Del tha Funkee Homosapien and Dinosaur Jr. (uncensored)

    cool song. lol

  • @LikeTheSunIAmOne Check out Fishbone! Norwood Fisher is the guy who practically invented this style

  • Edit on comment: Mosley, not Morris.

  • FNM is one of those bands that I can't really decide if I like the original singer or the newer singer better. I loved Morris' almost english accent in some of the songs, but Mike Patton is, well, come on it's Mike Patton. If you haven't checked it out yet look up "God Hates a Coward" a great Mike Patton song.

  • You could fuck to that bass.

  • @toastedtesticles one of the best comments i've seen. fair play! it is a savage bassline :)

  • dowhatevathehellyouwannado

  • I allso think it is strange that people just like to say negative shit about this music.what is the point of bringing negativity.of course.people have the right to say what thay feel and meen.I allso do that.but I try to respect what people feel and what they say.sometimes its important to criticise to.but thank you for coming with positive shit to my life.respect and love.chetilio1976.

  • YEAH.thank you for this video like @FNMdotCOM said.I have allways enjoyed FNM.I like Chuck a lot.I love Mike to.for me.this music allways will be great.I allso must say that I love all the members of FNM.great musicians.nobody can take that away from them.peace and love from chetilio1976.

  • Faith No More has always been great. Every album is a work of art and as a band they just grew up and started writting how they wanted to. They are the ultimate band

  • I aint gonna lie, im a patton fan. the band rocks, but faith, was 60% (LOL) patton.

  • is mosley wearing a friends stand united shirt?

  • @djmm1397 I thought it was a Florida State University t-shirt. lol.

  • @FNMdotCOM thank you so much for the video. neither eras will EVER!! die.

  • faith no more.... sums up my musical upbringing, good times

  • Without Chuck there never would've been Faith No More be it him or Mike the band itself is one of the greatest no love lost on the member's that disbanded thru the year's of their climb to 98 and if anyone has the vid cut of Mike and Chuck singing Introduce yourself please drop me a line I heard they did it on one of the reunion show's

  • @BudMan3230 THAT I would LOVE to hear!!!

  • Mike Patton is a dick. While he can sing a load of different styles of music, he has no original style at all.

    Mosley is just awesome.

  • @rockerlkj lolwat

  • Mike Patton is the best!!!

  • @SD334x4 What's that got to do with this video?

  • The Mosely stuff is good for a nostalgic listen, but hasn't aged that well. It's the Patton-years where FNM music became timeless

  • @donstuie... Each to their own I guess. I'm a huge fan of both eras, but the first two albums will always be my favourites.

  • This is one of FNM's weirdest songs. I love it. They stole the intro from "In a Big Country" by Big Country. They just yell "WHAT?!" instead of "SHOT!" But it's still totally unique.

  • @instereovideos The intro to Anne's Song sounds nothing llike the intro to Big Country.

  • @Lavern4101 Cool... I guess you don't have an ear for stuff like that. I disagree with you.

  • @instereovideos I'm not sure you got ears at all. Seriously, they 'stole' the intro from Big Country? The two beats sound NOTHING alike. Nothing. All because one yells 'what' and the other yells 'shot'? Come on now...

  • @Lavern4101 Sorry you can't hear it.

  • Chuck has such presence. Faith No More. god-damm. This band is great in every way, with all components. but the Chuck Mosely era was so much funner. If you took Mike and Chuck and you tried to classify them, two different worlds......its still a great band, but where in hell is Jim? what can you all do?

  • @sallyforthbastards Yes I love the Faith No More 80s stuff with Chuck. Glad they replaced him with Patton cause the band had to evolve and move on but as you said the Chuck era was very fun stuff. The band during that time were just misfit kids having fun and making good music. Didnt really fit in to any kind of category. Patton's era was magic but so was Chuck's in a nostalgic kinda way.

  • FNM was my favourite tape, blasting up the Lochs of Scotland in my first Lancia with 'We care a lot' turned up to 11. Brilliant times, Chucky boy was cool. As for Mike in my opinion things kept moving and getting better, I matured with the music, Stripsearch, helpless, Everythings ruined.... where does it end they are all fantastic tunes, all sung to perfection, except maybe 'I started a joke', didnt like it when the Bucked tooth Bee Gee's sung it, was a bit disappointed when FNM picked it.

  • oh stop jerking off on mike patton all of you daaamn, yeah he's a great singer but surely not the best. shiiiit.

  • @AORCrazy Nope, he's the best.

  • @fiockthis Nope, he's not.

  • Now this is what I call "ear porn".

    :D

  • The guitar was more of the driving force it seems like before mike Mike made the band put the vocals in front but they rocked then and they would still be one of the best bands if they released their first record today. No matter which singer they had

  • Yep, Paton is the better front-man if your taste is for the nasal inflections of a whiney voiced fuck bag.

  • @mattocomungatto hah! Have you even bothered to listen to his work with Fantomas, Mr Bungle, or Mondo Cane? I recommend Cape Fear by Fantomas and Deep Deep Down by Mondo Cane. Trust me, Patton is the best singer in all rock music. His vocal range and versatility is astounding.

  • chuck!!

  • Lots of Mosley haters out there. But I gotta say, even though Patton had a better voice, "The Real Thing" was really the only great record that he made with the band. And even though Real Thing was the ultimate FNM record, THIS was the best overall era. Chuck sang on two classic records with the band, and so in my book, he did more good work with them than Mike did. I'm not saying that Angel Dust wasn't good, I'm just saying that the band never should have let Mike influence their direction.

  • @instereovideos C'mon your lying to yourself,Angel Dust kills anything FNM put out prior to it

  • @instereovideos "The Real Thing" and everything prior is fun, but everything after is F'in ROCK!

  • I think this band was really good with Chuck Mosely.

  • Comment removed

  • For me "We Care a Lot" is 1,000 times greater an album than anything they did with Mike Patton. I know people love him, but I FAR prefer the Chuck Mosley era.

  • I think Mosley's singing style should be compared with the bands popular at that time, i.e. new wave bands instead of FNM in the 90s. If you listen to bands like Joy Division and Killing Joke, you hear that back these days, most singers' style (and voice) strongly resembled to Mosley. That is where FNM started and that's why he was a good choice in this era.

  • Love FNM.

  • Not live, but kick-ass all the same.

  • lol 69 comments

  • its true kids, before you tube we had music, not like real music like the xfactor with videos and web pages and stuff.

    but stuff like this...

    i listened to anne....

    switch it off.

  • I love this! Yeah, Mike is very rare, but Chuck era has it's own charm to it!

  • Three armed Jim Martin - that is my favorite part of this video!

  • Mosley is the best!

  • Mosley was an ass. Period. They made a good decision to kick his cocky ass out and get Patton, otherwise they would not have lasted as long. Good decision.

  • Whoever said "hey thats our new singer, welcome in the band chuck" .And "great demo we gotta get it out as a single record ,sign here guys" ???

  • Someone tell me what the "Fuck Shit Up" shirt is that Chuck is wearing is all about. I've seen pics/video of Hetfield and Newsted wearing the same shirt from back then, so I'm assuming it was a local Bay Area thing.

  • @dr000g FSU was an old hardcore gang from back in the day.

  • @dr000g FSU was a hardcore gang from the area back in the day. Started over in Boston and eventually opened a chapter on the west coast. Stands for Friends Stand United among various other things.

  • this is amazing.

  • So good, so brilliant! The true era of Faith No More, and Chuck Mosley is my all-time ultimate fashion icon!

  • I love this song! Dagnabit!

  • Chuck is awesome. Met him a few times. Check out his band Cement if you haven't already.

  • The singer sounds like he has a sock in his mouth

  • Tommy Netherland this song will forever remind me of our childhood. Wish I could catch up with you.

  • DAG NAB IT

  • for sure there's a lot of annes around the world there some anna around here

  • my mothers called anne , I bet everyone knows an anne somewhere

  • My name is Anne :)

  • its attitude..what...what's attitude

    best band of the 80's

  • If only Jim Martin were still in the band...I love his guitaring D;

  • i think they shoulda kept mosely

  • @mawelmurder he got kicked out mostly because he was an asshole, i heard.

but i feel faith no more with patton is something else then faith no more with mosely...

  • SUPER SONG!

  • I didnt even know this video excisted giddy up!!!

  • Introduce Yourself is still my favorite FNM album, I dig Patton in his side projects more.

  • Saw the band with both singers up front and Chuck WAS the better in my opinion. Far sexier too!

  • mosley lives here in cleveland iv seen him at a couple bars up here

  • Jim was great. this band was great before patton. Patton's incredible and I'm scared of his fans/ cult members, but I gotta say KFAD and AOTY didn't cut it like the previous efforts did musically. Between roddy's habit and pattons control those albums just kinda bore me. I just said that?!

  • Is singing lol

  • Love FNM no matter if Chuck or Mike singing. Just wish Jim Martin would come back and they'd come play in Nashville.

  • What a nice album, idk why other people hate it.

  • faith no more songs would be different if big jim stayed...i.e awesome songs like gentle art, evidence, king for a day, stripsearch, collision, just a man, ashes to ashes, cukoo for caca etc...wouldnt exist....

  • wonder why they always ignored this song later on.

  • Chuck is legendary. This is one of the best FNM songs ever. Funny, funky, and hard. The first two albums are amazing. Love Mike Patton but stop the hating on Chuck Mosley.

  • jim martin's a freakin tweaker in real life

  • Patton is my all time favourite Vocalist but this is a great little song and mosley bringsh is own style to the song. Why ruin a perfectly song withall the comparisons and the hating??

  • we were so young and pretty :D

  • yeah jim was awesome. but they were all good in their own way.

  • I used to spam Chuck Mosley's fb page...

    Sorry Chuck!

  • nevermind the mike or chuck argument, am i alone, or does anyone else miss jim?...........

  • you are not alone! i ask the same question! its not fnm without big jim! i saw him at a club in s.f. after he left the

band, he turned to me and said............

    ''no more faith''....true story.

  • Chuck Mosley, Some say , is not as good of a singer as Mike Patton. Chuck has his own unique voice and sound.:)

  • i reckon if they both sung it would be great. imagine mike patton blasting the crowd with insane vocals while mosley dances with some funny sounding backup singing, it would be great, in my opinion

  • the keyboard reminds me of the film The Labyrinth haha still it is a good song listen to this then listen to Cuckoo For Caca or Ashes To Ashes or Midlefe Crisis its very entertaining to see how far the band came with the years...

  • one of the best FNM songs

  • moslylol mosley he was with fnm for what 2 days fnm has over 7 lead singers and mike is without a doubt the best he is known in the music community as the man of a thousand voices and lives up to it and has been with fnm what 20 years longer than anyother singer and for good resone period.

  • Mosley was singer for their first two albums, which is certainly more than 'two days'.. if you weren't a complete idiot, you might've known that.

  • Love Mosley. His attitude was always off-kilter, and his hair was always entertaining to say the least.

  • Mosley was awesome. I prefer the Patton era, but still, the Mosley haters can go fuck themselves as far as i'm concerned.

  • @GlueyPorch If I could I would, wouldn't you?

  • What, what, what, what what, what huh? Love the start!!

  • @GlueyPorch Amen.

  • Patton is definetly better. But what Chuck's versions of any song that he was originally part of are better than pattons version

  • did they ever re-record any of these old songs with Patton?

  • This song and video is really not bad. Chuck has a really special hardcore low voice, and 'black" sense of rythm... But THANKS GOD THE ERA OF MIKE CAME!!! :)

  • What does the fsu mean

  • florida state university i think??

  • @dagnaste01 Florida State University?

  • It makes me smile that Chuck has a F.S.U. shirt on. He's hardcore. Still a Patton fanboy. I wonder what Mike's vocals would sound to this.

  • U KNOW idont give a fuk love this song and video= )

  • si, no se... creo que no hay necesidad de compararlo con patton...

igual el tema es buenisimo, creo que tiene una onda barbara...

    aguante fnm!!!

  • Musically this song is fantastic. Lyrically and vocally, this song could hardly be worse. I was SO happy when Chuck was fired/left/whatever. He never had the charisma that Mike does.

  • this song so owns...get some

  • brilliant bass line
