(I mean all of them all together)...It was pretty dang hard at parts lol I had to go to youtube and look up some walkthrough's lol but my most favourite of all is lair of the leviathan lol that one was soooo funny. I'm pretty sure that one is chapter 3 but I'm not sure...I got them on steam cuz its super cheeaaaappppppp lol...And legal! :D Lol but anyway go and GET THE GAME!!!!!!!

Ahh.. This brings back some good memories.. I loved those Adventure games, i liked the humor and the Storylines in thoese games, i must say that today most games are more about looking good and shooting things, than a good storyline. soory all FPS fans.. I hope that Lucas Arts releases the old Indy, games. esp. The Last crusade, that game was brilliant, 4, i think, difrent ways to play it. come to think of it Sierra made some realy good ones to, Police, Kings, and Space Quest, Oh and Larry (AVG)

Thats the thing, we have all grown to like the way Guybrush was in Escape from monkey island, and its a shame to change it. The pencil-necked look suits him because he is sort of a wannabe pirate and the the pencil-necked look makes him look week and not as fierce as a real pirate. Well thats how i feel about it anyway :P

Personally I hate it when old games update themselves too much. I think that the characters should have stayed the same look, and the backgrounds shouldn't be 3D. I liked the look of the old games. But it's still the same vibrant colour as the old ones, so I'm glad.

I grew up with the old 2D version (which I rediscovered for free on the net and just took a break from playing) - I think the developers have forgotten that the people who played the original monkey island are a lot older now and many, like myself, have not bought a video game in years and have enormous difficulty adjusting to a 3d gamescape. Why not keep it simple? This game was never about graphics.

I think, the publishers switched to 3D because the generation that BUYS the games nowadays expects it to be 3D. It's all about making money, in my opinion. Older gamers don't spend as much as younger ones.

But you can replay the old adventures with scummVM or DosBox or you are lucky and a publisher reworks an old game. I found Sierra's good old Kings Quest II for XP/Vista *lol*

What are you lot on about? This is made by some of the original people from the first two games that didn't work on the 4th. The graphics are great and are much better than the mistake Escape from Monkey Island. This will be great and will easily live up to the greatness of the first two! And this is coming from a long time monkey island fan that preferred the originals!

Yes the graphics are much better than the fourth, but in my opinion it is not a patch on how the Curse of Monkey Island is presented. The concept art shown in the video is stunning, and would have worked brilliantly as the real sets for this game, returning to a 2D style...(coming from a long time monkey island fan too, as if that means this carries some extra weight)
