WOW!!!!! I din't know it closed!!! When?? Why?? I used to work there back in '91 for a few months. It was cool. I knew all the shortcuts behind the displays to get to different places in the musuem quicker.  It was really creepy walking around there at night. I used to work the ticket booth and sometimes in the gift shop at the end when you came out to look at your picture. This really upsets me.

I worked there one summer and had the greatest time of my life. Even in the late 80's, it was getting shabby.

The only wax museum I liked because there were huge sets you could walk into like western streets and the yellow brick road to the Wizard of Oz and a colosseum with racing chariots for Ben Hur. There was a snack bar and gift shop halfway through but it really needed to develop the property around it with shops and eateries and small attractions to make the high price of admission worth it and current. The more people stopped going the higher the prices went. Until people stopped going at all.

I hate that they closed this but it was bound to happen eventually when you think about it.

i live here and i heard knotts was like taking all the buisness and stuff =( i never got to go but my brohter did and he said it was awsome
