  • ***** Rating! Grace is amazing. I didn't know it would have such a long working life. Hopefully, by the time it runs down, new and better satellites will be online.

GOCE is up and running but, it flies at a much lower altitude.

  • For more information, check description ->>

  • Ice sheets calve of glaziers: LIve with it! That is why the Titanic sank.

  • This is just information. And nothing to fear.

  • Great, btu be worried, we are entering the next iceage. So ice bergs on the Thames is going to happen with 20 years.

  • JonThm: "btu be worried"

    Why? Is it scare?

JonThm: "we are entering the next iceage. So ice bergs on the Thames is going to happen with 20 years"

    Interesting.

  • When ice melts to water at 3C, it expands! So whe nthe ice sheet melts, seas go down! The idiots who think it goes up, were asleeep that day fro high school physics! By the way, ice ages are very dangerous an unpleasant places to live in.

  • JonThm: "So whe nthe ice sheet melts, seas go down!"

Where all water from the melted ice will get to?

JonThm: "By the way, ice ages are very dangerous an unpleasant places to live in."

But some aboriginal people still live in such environment. So we will learn?

  • THe irst ice to melt is in the seas, so contracts as it melts, leaving a gap whic hwill dry other sea water in. This water is at 3 C, whe nteh air is at -20 C. So as the ice sheet decreases, the seas go don. In the Jurassic there was no South Pole, and sea levels were 65 meters lower, and temperatures were 10 C higher: But we are hweaded for an ice age now anyway!

  • JonThm: "But we are hweaded for an ice age now anyway!"

    And that's cool!

  • THe melted ice flows off to the equatro! It was already in the sea. The ibe on land is the last to melt. We can use molecular nuclear fusion to maek teh cliamte good all over the Earth, with no CO2.
