Oblivion Walkthrough 16 Great Gate (3-3)

The great gate is the most fun if you do the following:

-spells: water walk, long lasting healing spell, increase speed and acrobatics by about 300 (and maybye fire resistance or life detect... whatev you like while fighting)

-run accross the lava (health wont go down) and jump when ready

-land directly in front of the main door

-speed is so high that you can run through the tower real quick... or you can dispel and enjoy killing daedra without the constraint of time

Not as hard as the end of the game ( well i was lvl 9 when i beat the game) btw i have every summoning except the skeleton hero i think =) i dont play any more :(, and imagine a puny lvl 9 trying to close a great gate lol

for some reason when i add the stone it doesnt close the gate it just does the big flash and im still in the tower

Baurus and Jauffre got crushed by the seige crawler after I closed the gate. Those were like the only NPCs that were cool. I made them a wee shrine by some rocks.

I found them dead, underneath the crawler too. The thing that sucks is that

A. They were awesome and I really liked them

B. I'm using windows vista so I couldn't use the ressurect console command even if i wanted to.

what the fuck? No, after I closed the Oblivion gate that this video is about, the seige crawler breaks down and Jauffre and Baurus were crushed by it.

you dont have to close any of them.. after you close the bruma gate with burd you just ask martin for quests. it saves like two hours

the quest tells that you can also persuade the guilds to help.

ive tried but theres no topic of aid for bruma by a fighterguild member even not by vilena donton or modryn oyen.

Im am the guildmaster of the fighters guild maybe then its not posibble .

there is now way of getting help from the guilds. at least so it says on the uesp wiki.
