I want to run a 540 to 555 BBC Twin Turbo on LPG (low boost 6-12psi on a static compression of around 9:1, dont want a weak efficiency off boost)

But people told me performance and LPG does not mach. Why, with the LPG´s high octaine-rating and cooler burn-temperatur it should be one of the better fuels.

Where can I get infos about conversions like that (big cubes with turbos and LPG)?

No, this engine is 248CI OHC. 4.0L

The 250 is an in block cam 4.1L (old motor) There torque monsters. They'll spool up a big turbo with ease, anywhere between 2500-2800rpm, but they arent a revvy motor, 6000rpms max. This one here will be pulling close to 2000nm torque ATW, that's 1470ft/lbs ATW!!!. Not bad for a 6.
