The Earth-Moon distance was measured by radar and laser as a laser is fired up a mirror (prism retro-reflectors that reflect light in the same direction of incident light) placed by the astronauts on the Moon (Apollo 11.14 and 15)
Rio de Janeiro. Wonderful document about the epic human in space. I am an engineer and fan of space exploration. In my country only the mentally ill, sects that preach the end of the world, Communists and Nazis. Too bad that only China to go to the moon. There are already lunar probes to Japan, India, ESA, NASA and China. It has images of the landing sites of Apollo.
@andschannll Hello! Should be against the mentally ill in the epic human space exploration. I’m an engineer and a fan in Brazil. I don’t think I wanted to show the websites of the universities in Europe and Brazil. More ESA, RFSA, CNSA recognizing the heroes of the Apollo missions. In my country are very well. Thanks for the warning. You already know that JAXA, ESA and ISRO have photos of the remains of the Apollo .
Did we actually land on the moon? How come they didn't put any homing beacons just to tell and prove that they land on the moon. I think Nevada is a nice place for moon landings.
@pogpogcasino :) ty for the comment............yes we landed on the moon as far as beacons go, apollo 11, 12 and 15 all left 'retro reflectors' on the moon's surface and when the powerful earth lasers are pointed at them a reflected signal comes back, most notably the reflector at Hadley Rille apollo 15.
Nevada's desert yellow sands arn't the same as the lunar soil in the photos and films that's unless they sprayed it with grey paint lol!!!!
@andschannll Well in that case, please bear in mind that they can also put 'retro reflectors' on the moon's surface without the help of the Astronauts. This was already planned thinking that they actually land on the moon. 1960's space technology is not capable of 'going-to-the -moon'. Remember Apollo 13? That was supposed to be the REAL MISSION that MAN CAN CONQUER THE MOON BUT THEY FAILED. Simple.
I like how you mix in still shots, but a suggestion: next time you do this, check the photo archives for photos taken at the same time as the place where you put it in the video. They're in order, so it shouldn't be too hard to do. It would have been cool to see the big rock when they were there.
@Astrobrant2 Thanks I'm so glad you liked it. I try'd to have a go at matching but I hadn't those Hasselblad 70mm HD Transparencies.
I have 5000 photographs from their respective camera magazines but bearing in mind Apollo footage is free from copyright I don't know where more archives are.
The photos are from 'Project Apollo Image Gallery' and the movie clips are from 'Apollo Lunar Surface Journal' both free on the net btw.
Below, the sick by conspiracies, universities from Europe and Brazil and has liaisons with space exploration. You are mentally ill.
