compared to blackhawk.. you can buy 4 bell 412 for one blackhawk, even more if its UH-1h from whatever is available with US army and upgrade it to Huey 2.
Its still the economy of scale. For countries with limited budget, huey will always be a workhorse.
@kel12176 Of course it was going to outclass it, The Blackhawk is more modern & it replaced it. . Its like comparing an F-16 to an F-4 Phantom. But the Huey is a legend and a classic which still serves various miltary forces well around the world to this day almost 50 years after the first one flew. The Huey has been around as long as the B-52 & C-130 and for that achievement alone it disserves respect . It saved 1000 's of soilders lives in Nam and every other war afterwards.
