He's a diamond, lives in East Sussex.

  • Just beautiful had to favourite

  • absolutely superb wish i could play the sax

  • BEAUTIFUL .how long does it take to learn basic sax? please dont say how long is a piece of string. if i could play one tune it would be this one.

  • very good......almost Wesley...

  • Beautiful playing. We need more sax in todays music.

  • I love the sax playing of Jan Garbarek, but even in his most haunting and melodic moments and recordings, he doesn't come within a mile of this piece. Truly sublime.

  • amazing xxx

  • beautifull, thanks for this

  • @dxr1jockey that was stunning like all great session players wes is up there with people like danny thompson

  • One of the most mesmerising, hauntingly beautiful piece of music Ive ever heard...

  • i may be 66 but when i here this it still brings tears to my eyes, utterly beautifull.

  • but this is the guy who done the original solo sax for the hit "will you" wasnt it???

  • wesley magoogan , (the guy who did the original for hazel) had an accident with a very large circular saw, and although they did re attach his fingers he can only use one hand now....I didnt think the original could possibly be more moving till I found that out......

  • i really really wished i cud play the sax like that....mesmorising or wat :-))))))

  • Driving home from a school trip early 8o's - kissing Heather Illingdon at the back of the coach, this track playing on the radio. No matter where I am and what I'm doing. This sax solo always makes me stop and listen. Pure genius and class. And I'm a nu-metal guitar player!!!!! Thankl you for this memory.

  • Same here cunn16, although it wasn't Heather Illingdon..lol. But when I hear it I'm taken straight back in time, good memories.

  • Fine performance....and fantastic sound quality.

A tad lacking in power perhaps in certain places (when compared to the original) but beautiful nonetheless.

  • this is excellent

    thanks

  • Thanks rojox, i play the tune all the time but i just want to fine tune it..... Thanks again 99............. take care. gerrysaxman. adios99.

  • Well done Roger! You were always a great player in the 1960's, so Im glad that you dug your sax out of the attic & rediscovered your talent!
