I made more than 800 subtitles on video a created last week spanish to english , and iMovie quit without asking anything and then i try to open it again and all my work was gone!!!!
more than 9 hours of work !!! gone completely gone , i don't know why it happens , my computer is pretty new has only 2 months , I'm very disappointed !!! cheers my friend and i love your videos!! cheers!!!
I had problems with HP Scan Pro as well. But I fixed it. Delete the HP software. Re-install it.
DON'T USE HP SCAN PRO or Snow Leopard's ways of scanning. BUT DO THIS: locate the Hp Scan pro app, right click -> Get Info, and make sure "Open with Rosetta" is enabled. Open HP Scan Pro (it may crash first two times) and it should work now.
It works just like it's always worked!
(If you don't have Rosetta installed, insert SL DVD and install it )
Its all about 64 bit. Apple really wants to be the premiere 64 bit OS. This is easier said than done. As long as they help everyone get on board then its fine. But, if they leave a lot of folks left behind, then this is where i begin to have some real problems. I say, "Apple fix the problems you have created by going to 64 bit!"
Maybe its adobe"s fault? I heard they are refusing to make CS4 64 bit, which they really should. Massive speed improvements could be made there.

I dont see what the problem is. CS3 works fine on my copy of snow leopard.

Yeah. Snow leopard is a piece of crap if you are working on CGI.
AF CS4 runs slow, and its very unstable on that kitty. CS3 works even worse.
And its not a fully 64 bits compatible OS, it uses only 3 gig of ram of my 6 gigs (CS4 in win seven 64bits uses all the ram).
In fact all versions of adobe packages are compatible with all windows os.
Another reason for not using a mac.

I think what happend is that developers thought snow leopard would just work like leopard, they were wrong, they were to lazy to try!
