I was disappointed at how many people booed BG at the UC. I expected booing but I expected more cheering is well. At the same time, Chicago is a tough sports environment and it's not anything personal. I'm sure he was booed because he's in a different uniform now. He still has fans here. I hope he knows that. I wish BG only the best.

Ben Gordon didn't want to leave Chicago, but when Jerry Reinsdorf and management wouldn't even offer him a contract, wtf was he suppose to do? sign another 1yr. deal? or some bullshit offer when they gave that bum Luol Deng 80million.. THEY made a mistake by not bringing him back.. and screw the people @ the UC who boo'd BG tonight. those aren't fans, their idiots. i hope Ben bust' the Bulls ass for years to come..

Why is that, bullrose5? Gordon was a solid ballplayer for the Bulls for quite a few years, many would argue their best player for those years. Detroit offered him a contract, the Bulls decided to go in a different direction. What exactly did Ben do that was so egregious as to warrant him being booed by the home crowd for his first visit back? Give him a round of applause during player introductions, THEN boo him later... because he is an opposing player. Not for anything else.

why? because he played hard every night he was here even when management disrespected him? There's only one ben who should be mercilessly booed and his last name is Wallace, someone who tried probably a fourth of the time he was here and singlehandedly set back the franchise a few years with his ridiculous contract.

Please? He could have had signed a big contract the year before, but he turned that down. And the reason why he said he would sign with the Pistons, is because they'll win more? The Bulls aren't setting world on fire, but the Pistons are doing worse.

im a bulls fan so ya i agree pistons are trash. that was just the pc thing to say. No one ever says they left for a butt load of money even if its true. But the fact is he worked his tail off, he was regarded as the hardest worker on the team. Summer after 06-07 Deng turned down a contract as well same year as bg..and after him and ben had down years in 07-08, management raised dengs contract and lowered Bens. Deng is now proudly the $70 million man that still cant shoot off the dribble.
