I can understand why overseas teochew people wants to eat "Kuay Chup" at Teochew area. But from the look of the dish, it is very disappointing. I think Bangkok teochew kuay chup is much better than this. For best overall Teochew Kuay Chup and other teochew Kuay type of food, Singapore is the best not only in quality but numbers of vendors. Except soya source geese Bangkok is the best.

Thanks for replying. Christmas Island is known as Australia's largest host of refugees. My curiosity always lies in how the inhabitants deal with this gigantic concrete hell hole deep in the pristine soil. What motivated you to go there if you don't mind me asking? Teochew people spread out across the globe, from the frozen land of Filand, to mystically exotic South Africa. Never have I however expected to find a Teochew at this very site.
