This doesn't work anymore. What you'll get is either Visual Voicemail or Tethering with no MMS. If you install the new IPCC, your visual voicemail will stop working.

do you have mms on your individual account or family plan account.. if you dont have mms at all then it will not work so you need to make sure its active and enabled but likely wont be since it shows the iphone on the account

i just read on the net the iphone needs to be unlock to work i was only able to have it for a few min earlier i unlock my phone and it seems to work with mms on 3gs will post again if things change lol

If your visual voicemail stops working just go into settings and type in acds.voicemail under visual voicemail and leave the rest blank

i have tethering & MMS enabled and my visual voicemail is working just fine...

Worst case scenario, if Visual Voicemail just doesnt work, call 611 and tell them maybe they'll fix it. I never had that problem though my VisualVoicemail was unaffected.

but that because i used to have the older iphone than i bought the 3G and when i plug it to my pc the backup from the older phone was there so thats why it didnt show the 3G just restard the iphone and dont load any back up to it

No, mine is jailbroken but it makes no difference. I actually did this on an old computer I didn't sync my iphone on and it seemingly worked fine. I have trouble sending and receiving them just because it takes a while to get them or send them but it's not unlike other people's MMS. I got an error sending one once but I resent it and it was fine. Seems to be working overall great for me, feel free to ask anything else

cant.. they wont enable it until the summer unless you have another phone on the account which is family plan and switch up sims and say you want to enable mms for this other phone and replace the sim back to the iphone and your on..long as you have an iphone and they know ur gonna use it, they wont enable it

fuck at&t i unlocked my iphone and switched to Tmobile now i can internet tether and send mms, and i got unlimited minutes and data and text msgs for under 90 bucks

i had it unlocked for tmobile and just look up the mms settings for tmobile network for the iphone and input the settings.. you will need the carrier file for tmobile for it to work too.

I called the other day to at&t and they pretty much said that since they were the first carrier that sent out the iphone. they set it up wrong by not having MMS in the Default, so pretty much they have to totally update the whole system because of the iphone. But they did reassure that it will be up and running within a month or so.
