how about you look back a few years instead of just this one season. Also florida isnt as good as there record shows. ive seen them in past years and dont seem as good. If you would of actually watched the florida game you couldve easily seen that florida couldve run up the score but didnt, because they didnt want to risk tim tebow getting hurt since he just came off a concussion the game before. Lsu isnt that good. Offence is the worst ive seen in years. The reason they came in 3rd is because the rest of the sec isnt good this year either, which is why alabama and florida went undefeated regular season. Dont get me wrong they are both great teams though. You could argue there are at least 4 teams in the sec that wouldnt be suprising to see go to the national championship. Alabama, Florida, LSU, and Georgia maybe. 5 of last 6 national championships won by sec, u cant not give credit

Yeah, but it changes, its not the same two teams every year, and i dont see any other conference that has that. Idk bout that...thats how alabama plays and the passing game wasn't effective all night for alabama...they're a runnin team, thats what they do.....their players may have relaxed a little but I think Texas had a excellant chance to win if they would've had McCoy...Those first two possessions have a much better chance of being touchdowns with McCoy and goin up 14 nill to start would've been huge...they were one dimensional down on the goal line & ALA knew what was coming....McCoy changes that...

you cant say alabama would of played like they did if mccoy didnt get hurt. They only threw the ball 12 times, while texas threw it 42 times with a backup qb. It gets predictable when all you do is run. Thats why texas was able to stop alabama, they knew what was coming. It wouldve been a great game if mccoy didnt get hurt,but dont think texas would of moved the ball all night as easily as they did the first two possesions either. Look at the past nc's and tell who came out strong- the loser.

K, but if McCoy was in I believe Texas scores touchdowns on their first two possessions which would've made it 14-0 early......and i can almost gurantee Alabama would've continued to try and pound the ball cuz thats who they are...They may have run the ball more with McCoy out and the lead, but even if McCoy wasn't injured they would've run the majority of the game...Its what they're good at...they always lean towards the run and the passing game early was pretty inneffective...

Ya the best teams in the big ten are Iowa, OSU, PSU...but Wisconsin is always solid and a very difficult place to play along with MSU....but that speed argument is really getting annoying...SEC does get some players in the skill positions that are faster, but its not like player for player the SEC has an advantage in speed...you get occassional speed demons like P. Harvin, demps, etc. that the big ten doesn't get in their skill positions, but the big ten does find effective ways to defend that..

Iowa has been bumped up to a higher bowl almost every year because of their fan base. I believe Northwestern was supposed to be in this bowl because Northwestern beat Iowa and they were tied in big ten standings. So you can't make that excuse

2003-04 against florida they totally ripped their shit up....LSU in 2004-05 they were beating LSU down for most of the game until the end when LSU came back, although that was followed by Tate's bomb pass to beat them...then they beat down south carolina last year...and the year they lost to florida in 06, they lost by seven and got completely screwed on the onside recovery by the refs...Idk why the SEC would EVER think that Iowa aint for real...Ferentz is 3-1 against the SEC....

Yeah Cykie was in the warm climate with the Hawkeyes while the Sick Clone team sat back here in zero degree temps while their bird won in the middle of a Hawkeye bowl game!!
