  • SICK BRO.

  • Great cover. Very nice tone. Is that a phaser in the intro?

  • Clayton Kershaw!

  • great work!!!! loved it

  • I finally learned how to play the solo after all these years from watching this video, very good job and thank you for posting man!

  • Really good, u should add some reverb at the beginning tho

  • why doesn't this have more views?

  • Couldn't agree more with the "jealous" top comment. Awesome cover

  • that has to be themost unenthuastic singing ive ever heard

  • @nobellium1997 haha agreed. he did a good job but a lil more enthusiasm and this cover would be incredible

  • Greatjob dude! Thanks for sharing!

  • Great cover !!! Can you tell me where did you find the tabs please?

  • which color lace sensors did you use, im trying to decide which ones to get for my strat

  • @pefieldhockey7 I don't know what color he's using but probably red silver and blue just like Billy Corgan..

  • awesome..........................

  • I actually like your voice better than Billy's. reminds me of the Smith Westerns (who are big Sp fans, btw) and MBV:)

  • nice tone man, almost identical to the v4 op amps big muff, you should buy the fender blender, you could make the same sounds that billy did for the solos and fills he did for cherub rock and rocket, he technically used the fender blender and the micro synth for the solos on SIAMESE DREAM, but again, nice tone!!!

  • could you please tell me what frets you are pressing from exactly 2:58 to 3:01

  • at 0:31 are u strumming the low E string?

  • Awesome cover man.

  • I was like "yeah, ok" till you hit the solo and de-fuckin-mystified it for me!

    Nice work yo!

  • BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF BIG MUFF

  • Very, VERY well done!!!!! I was entertained the whole time i watched! Now I'm gonna go work on getting it down as smooth as you have it.

  • U play very good but the Amp sounds.... weird :l

  • Dude, that was fakin' sic....spot on! Enjoyed this immensely...thanks for sharing!

  • you should be proud that they put this on their facebook. if you haven't already seen it go check it out!

  • Awesome - and props to SP for posting this on Facebook! Good work!

  • nice cover

  • WELL DONE

  • heyyy maybe you could meet up with billy and make him mad... you just figured out his big secret... or maybe your his secret son? this sounds too much like him... nice jawb.

  • holy crap dude you have it perfect and you use a lot of different camera vision, unlike most cover. X)

  • DUDE you NAILED the solo! Mad props to you!

  • Wait a minute, wait a minute -- Your chain is Black Finger>>Big Muff>>Amp Sim? I want to get this sound live, already have a Big Muff, but what does the Black Finger do? I understand it's a compressor pedal. P.s. Are you singing, too? Sounds good...

  • Wait a minute, wait a minute -- Your chain is Black Finger>>Big Muff>>Amp Sim? I want to get this sound live, already have a Big Muff, but what does the Black Finger do? I understand it's a compressor pedal.

  • perfect

  • zehr gut.. actually helped me alot to play

  • what are the settings for the muff,I cant get mine anywhere near that.

  • @rockerdude29 approximately 1 o'clock, 1 o'clock and 5 o'clock (pegged out). If you google Big Muff and Billy Corgan you can go to a link on the ehx site that has a picture of his pedal.

  • WHat do you use to get that distortion?

  • @mjschemicalromance Big Muff pedal.

  • Are you saying the Bigg Muff and Black Finger are simulated, or is the Amp Simulator in addition to those effects pedals? I don't own any pedals but I just got a gio interface and I'm looking for a good fuzz and compressor effect for garageband.

  • Big Muff & Black Finger are actual pedals. The amp simulator is in addition. It goes from the guitar to the Black Finger to the Big Muff to the Amp Simulator

  • @homeskillet9 cool thanks, I wish someone made a decent Big Muff audio unit.

  • Out f'ing standing!!!

  • good job

  • cool man, cooooooooooooooooool.....

  • how to download the background song?

  • This definitely deserves to be the number one search result for a guitar cover of this song. Love the singing as well. You give your best shot at it and it sounds great... especially since you just sang into the laptop mic.

  • god damn man, extraordinary job.

  • this is sick

  • this is in standard tunning right?

  • Great cover!

  • i like the singing accually. great effects on it too.

  • The camera effects go well with it. And great playing with a cheap guitar nice :D

  • the singing sounds weird lol but other than that love the riff dude

  • its good apart from the singing witch is TERRIBLE

  • Could you please tell me the settings of your big muff on this video?

I have the same pedal and was hoping you could tell me where you have the Volume, Tone, and sustain set at.

  • bad intro rhythm dude!

  • hey, which pedal are you using for the distortion?

  • Excellent! Very helpful camera work too!

  • Excellent

  • cool

  • Very well done bro, i loved it!!

  • You should totally do two tracks of the actual open chords (D, A, C, G, and E during the bridge), and pan one left and one right. It'll add to the overall effect.

Plus, that's how the song's actually played. xD

    Great job thus far though.

  • nice cover, but why didn't you complete the cadence?

  • Niiiice!

  • of all the stuff you could have easily simplified (but didnt) you just had to simplify my favorite part of the solo, otherwise really good, but cmon

  • dude nice sweet tone to one of my fav songs from guitar hero, im trying to learn this but tabs are hard to find for it

  • u dumbass,

    ultimateguitar!!!!!!!

  • u dumbass, there are more tab sites than just ultimate guitar, it has a few tabs on the song but im trying to find other tabs to see which ones sound better to me...

  • one helpful word man Marty Schwartz he helped me tremendously when i was starting

  • Beautifully played! Thank you for filming your hands during the solo. I learnt to play it solely from this video. Thanks!

  • that was awesome :D

    *****

  • Good job man, it sounded dead on

  • did you have phaser or chorus flange or something on, it sounded like it. i can hear the distortion or is that a fx pedal? good job

  • The solo was sick. Good job dude.

  • dude do you have any tabs for this song?

  • spfc

  • OMFG, you rock dude.

  • You basically duplicated the guitar as far as I could tell. :)

  • dude you kicked that solos ass

  • thats sick. nicely done, thats a hard solo man i havent got it yet.. hey where doo you get the song without the guitar? or are you just playing over it?

  • thanks... i just made a quick and dirty looping drum track on my drum machine, and tried to sing... I used garage band to mix it all together.

  • Nice one man, excellent song and nice skills. If only I could be bothered to teach myself or afford lessons :p

  • Thanks! If you only new how many times it took for me not mess up! So many, I never bothered to finish the song!

  • ?? dont' understand these guys talking about fakes...i think they start playing chords :)

Very good cover man, watching billy's solo is always interesting. 5 starts.

  • fake!!!

  • I'll take that as a compliment LOL!

  • OMFG HOW DO U DO THE SOLO?!?!?!?

  • fake !!!

  • jealous.

  • Who is singing? Definitely not Billy...

    Great cover!

  • Thx! That's me trying to sing.

  • its really good, you sound a lot like billy, minus the high notes...id say keep practicing, and you could sing for a tribute band

  • whos doing the vocals....it sounds like billy, but not exact to the song....???

  • I tried singing it myself... right into my laptop mic. I can't even come close to billy's voice!

  • sounds pretty close

  • you forgot to list the phaser you were using for the intro

  • boss ph3

  • this is my fav song good cover

  • Dude, that sounded almost exactly like the song! Good one!

  • Man this is sweet.

  • Doesn't matter who plays it... Cherub Rock gets me in a trance from the start all the way to the last second.

I do like the cover. :P

  • That was awesome

  • That tone sounds exactly like the song!

  • thanks... I only wish I could get it exactly like the song!

  • its not a cover if its exactly the same as the original, 9/10 sounds really good, tell me more about this "garage band"

  • its a music program where you can edit music, record, add stuff like drums

  • "solo" was good, but part of main riff 0:35 was wrong

  • bullshit

  • its not bullshit. no offence to him but you can hear the parts he messed up. barely though.

  • slackerVK is right,

the main riff has a mistake,

just forgot to add one octave.

    not big mistake at all.

i mean its not like he couldnt have fixed it if he tried, hes a damn good guitarist.

  • what kind of guitar is that?

  • Comment removed

  • ommmgggg,

    so damn good.

    keep it up

  • good shit bro

  • yeah

  • hey man what kinda pedal are you using

    ????

  • the best kind a big muff!

  • Liczba wyświetleń: 30101

    I'm 30,101th xD It's strange xD

    btw. great cover dude!

  • Whoooa

    30,001th viewer?

    Strange..

  • spot on dude.

  • really awesome playin

  • can you put where you got the tabs in the more info box. the way you did the chorus sounded much better then the tabs i find

  • watch the video you goof, you can clearly see the note structure

  • Descendant of Corganism at Amazon

  • maduker you are a nit picker

  • i guess...

  • Amazing cover.

    Keep it up.

  • i loved it ur really good

  • 1) really good cover i must say, i really liked it

2)where did you get that vocal track?

  • my mouth :O

  • o-o

  • that compression sounds tight

  • way to much bass, fix yur tone a lot. it sounds bad

  • Have you heard the song? This sounds great

  • Great job, a pretty easy song but you did it like Billy Corgan himself so 5/5 even though you can learn it pretty fast with the right techniques

  • how long have you've been playing for, 'cause that was awsome.

  • good job on the cover. the close angles help since i was playing some alternate chords on the chorus, I musta picked some bad tabs, but yeah, the way you play it flows smoother.

  • good cover but your tone is horrible bro turn the bass up

  • outstanding cover my friend, you might check out my version sometime. any advice would be so welcome. anyway 5***** are yours

  • i salute you sir!

    that was awsome

  • Haha thanks, It's only my guitar playing... no back track. Guess I was too lazy to cut the strings!

  • he's talking about the drum track and your doubling of the chords.

  • great tone for that song

  • pretty goddamn well done cheif.

  • awesome playin, awesome tone, perfect matey

  • Compliments! Very good, as soon as I get a cam up, I'll make a video response if you don't mind :)

  • Sure thing, I'd like to see your version. Thanks!

  • right on man, you pretty much nailed it. the song really isn't that complicated and it sounds great loud as hell. your tone is kick ass.

  • dude, i loved ur solo ;s u may tell me how do it!

  • I was wondering what settings you had put on your Big Muff, I have the sustain cranked all the way and the tone at about 12 o'clock but it seems WAY to muddy. Could you tell me what settings you have yours on?

  • I think the sustain was all the way up and tone may have been somewhere around 12 o'clock... wherever it sounds good. I have it going through an amp simulator also which really makes it sound better.

  • Got it to sound much better. Thanks. I thought it sounded more like the studio version with the tone down to 11 o'clock but; this is much clearer and doesn't sound as bad when you hit a muted string.

  • what guitar is that? is it fender? nice cover

  • yeah, the guitar was Fender =)

  • cheap 90's gibson epiphone

  • wait it looks like a fender strat or something. also how can it be a gibson epiphone lol?

  • it says what it is in the description

  • What you think of the Epiphone? I picked mine up for £80 and I think It's pretty cool.

  • I think mine was around US$350 or so back in 1993 when I got it. You got a good deal! It's an ok guitar. I guess it's good if you don't want to spend a lot and you're starting out. I put new lace sensor gold pickups in it which sound waaaay better than what the guitar came with. After 14yrs, I guess it's held up pretty well... except the switch and volume knob quit working right....mega dust maybe.

  • My switch and volume knob arent working right either, the switch cuts off when its in the bridge and neck position and the volume knob...basically doesn't turn the volume down lol...Great video!

  • dude u nailed it... awesome solo... got any tabs for the solo?.. it goes kinda quick.

  • Well done!!

  • nice job dude... one of my fav songs well played. Whos your guitar signed by? i can see a signature near the bottom.

  • nice, that was amazing, but next time you should look into some les paul speakers or some ibanez speakers, more power and less muffle. has poweer to destroy a cardboard box at 10...

  • Haha, I just got uber owned. Amazing, dude. -goes to look at other stuff-

  • Well done! Thanks

  • Hey brother thanks for posting this, helped me figure out the solo parts I was having trouble with.

    Be most excellent

  • this guy probably plays it better than any of you

  • cool, very nice

  • dude dont listen to some of these dics... awesome cover!

  • its a whole step bend with a pinch harmonic on the 21st fret... i have the official tab
