  • LITTLE KNOWN FACT : The Beach Boys - Don't Worry Baby is a response to this song

  • 1-27-2012. She's gettin' her kicks at 66. Happy Birthday, Nedra Talley. And to the wanna-be's of today: This is how it's done.

  • @mkl62 Nedra is Such a Classy Lady!! Always Loved Her. I'm Affraid This Music is so Gone, never to Return. Happy Birthday Nedra......many more.

  • It kind of fascinates me the genius behind this and so many top 10 songs, Phil Spector, and where it all went? Now I am depressed!

  • Bull

  • sounds like beach boys' dont worry baby, a little a think

  • @bluespunknight lol i know what u mean! gotta love the classics.. !

  • i love the girl groups from the 60's they had it going on not like today with these untalented oversexed girls that need remixes to help them sound better

  • @ntvbrooklyngrl exactly how i feel ;)

This is very, very well recorded.

  • dirty dancing...esta chingona.

  • This music will never die! Motown rules!!

  • @kenjixo not motown.. phil spector produced

  • A perfectly executed masterpiece, all-time American classic of a song. I think Brian Wilson was quoted as saying that this is the single greatest pop single ever produced. Pretty hard to disagree with that statement. As soon as you here the drum intro, you know exactly what this is.

Can you imagine being in the studio on the day this song was created and committed to tape? It would be like witnessing history.

Definitely in my top 10 favorite songs of all time.

  • i was sooo destined to live in that time era...

  • An american classic.

  • UNBELIEVEABLE.........THIS RECORD IS "49" YEARS OLD!!

I Still Have my "Original" 45 Record, worn out from Hundreds of times

Playing it when I was 15! Ronnie, Nedra & Estelle.

God I Loved Them. RIP Estelle

  • @captain2112

I love the fact that you know they were known as "The Wrecing Crew!" Not too many ppl know that! Brian Wlison of the Beach Boys was so amazed by Spectors music productions he couldn't stand himself!!!

    The Ronnettes will Never Die****

  • Timeless...

  • Only Ronnie cactually sung on The Ronettes recordings,Nedra and Estelle didnt sing a note, the background oohs and aahs were sung by session singers

  • @Indiscriminate35 not true

  • @lebleufleur Read Ronnies interview with the UK magazine Record Collector from August 2006

i know its not easy to understand but Estelle and Nedra never appeared on the Ronettes actual recordings, session singers did all the backing vocals

Read the article and find out

  • @Indiscriminate35 the background vocals were actually sung by Sonny&Cher and Darlene Love

  • @xxChiQuiTitaxx73 i never knew that, thanks alot

  • @Indiscriminate35 you're welcome! it was the beggining of the 60's and Sonny&Cher were working for Spector before becoming stars, he invited them to sing the harmonies :)

  • @planetraptor420 i was born in the 420 era. 1984 born baby ! :) young smokey pup

  • @planetraptor420 truthfully I don't give a shit when I was born, at least we don't have to wait for all of these songs to be released. we already have them to appreciate. no one makes us listen to our current music. music sucks, but at least technology is advancing.

  • @planetraptor420 Alex Turner is only 26, so I was born in the correct decade, though I love songs like this too!

  • nearly 200 negative people didn't get THE FEELING when they were listening to this music... :))

  • You know the music is good if people are still listening to it after 40 years at least.

with 6,960,533 viewers you know someone is listening.

  • Good music never die, like an old vine better an better

  • When I bought this Record in the "Early" 60's, I wouldn't

of Believed that I would be Hearing it in 2011,

on my PC. This Song is nearly 50 Yrs old & Still Rocks Me.

My God, I Love Ronnie, Nedra & the late Estelle. Then & Now.

  • When will people on Youtube get it, that it doesn't matter how old you are, and some people just don't even care how old you are (here on Youtube). So if you're 13, 37 or 85 it doesn't matter. You like the music if you like it. PLEASE stop commenting on it, it doesn't matter AT ALL.

    - Sorry if this sounded b*tchy, didn't mean to. :)

  • im only 16 and i love every song from that time of age

  • @dbreszy well it was written for teenagers so that makes sense

  • i love this song. a great song. so catchy.

  • Brian Wilson was right....this is the greatest song of all time

  • Well i'm here because of youtube suggestions. Good suggestions. but who gives a fuck about the way i landed here anyway?

  • Who else is here because of Monster? :)

  • CUSHTY!

  • how did I get here

  • WHAT are you talking about?

  • Hey mcfly. Your shoe is untied.......

  • Great song!!

  • EVERYTHING about this era was better. The cars, the music, the politics n social culture ect ect. If such a cultural decline continues it stands to reason in 2050 we'll just be grunting n throwing poo at eachother

  • @Honey88Koonce AI think anyone who isn't white might disagree w/ that statement.

  • @UNCARING1 nah just niggers

  • @Honey88Koonce except medical care

  • @Honey88Koonce et le respect des autres !!!

  • One major factor I rarely see in these 1950s/1960s versus today debates: Lady Gaga and others of today had the advantage of hearing the 1950s/1960s music and "factoring it" into their music, subconsciously or otherwise. The composers from the earlier days of rock and roll only had jazz and R&B to lean on. And sampling (a great euphemism for stealing) of those old rock and roll hooks is proof that the early days of rock and roll were a high-water mark for music.

  • Hey, man, like, it was great back then. Even the snot in my nose was better than the snot you see today.

Not only that but when you stepped in shit back then, it wasn't like stepping in shit today. No way, no comparison, man.

And when you wanted to fart, there weren't any liberal around to tell you to go sit on a fluffy pillow.

No, no, everything was great. Yeah, great. Okay, now I gotta go and watch paint dry. ... Great, just great.

    P.S. And I'm not ignorant.

  • I wonder if somebody's saying "Be My Baby" to Phil where he is now...

  • born in 93 wish i could of been born in the 40s to actually grow up listening to this type of music

  • @idaliabotello Don't be an ignorant(seeing that you have my age). The music was good, but all the rest was shitty. Think for yourself this, would it really be worth living in a time where you had to work at age 8 grab food from the garbage, and when your parent would have probably died on Vietnam, Africa or during the WW2?

I'm proud of being born in the 90s because I'm proud of who I am. The world may be shitty, but it was never that good to start with, so just be proud of that.

  • Ahh! Only the best music you'll ever find

  • Born in 89 but wish I cpuldve lived the 50s & 60s
