@wjdehddud306 correction, "awsome" has been degraded to an adjective shit faced spoiled snobby teens use to describe their justin bieber rap shit. this is A MOTHERFUCKING CLASSIC
A perfectly executed masterpiece, all-time American classic of a song. I think Brian Wilson was quoted as saying that this is the single greatest pop single ever produced. Pretty hard to disagree with that statement. As soon as you here the drum intro, you know exactly what this is.
Can you imagine being in the studio on the day this song was created and committed to tape? It would be like witnessing history.
Definitely in my top 10 favorite songs of all time.

EVERYTHING about this era was better. The cars, the music, the politics n social culture ect ect. If such a cultural decline continues it stands to reason in 2050 we'll just be grunting n throwing poo at eachother
One major factor I rarely see in these 1950s/1960s versus today debates: Lady Gaga and others of today had the advantage of hearing the 1950s/1960s music and "factoring it" into their music, subconsciously or otherwise. The composers from the earlier days of rock and roll only had jazz and R&B to lean on. And sampling (a great euphemism for stealing) of those old rock and roll hooks is proof that the early days of rock and roll were a high-water mark for music.
@idaliabotello Don't be an ignorant(seeing that you have my age). The music was good, but all the rest was shitty. Think for yourself this, would it really be worth living in a time where you had to work at age 8 grab food from the garbage, and when your parent would have probably died on Vietnam, Africa or during the WW2?
I'm proud of being born in the 90s because I'm proud of who I am. The world may be shitty, but it was never that good to start with, so just be proud of that.

Hey, man, like, it was great back then. Even the snot in my nose was better than the snot you see today.
Not only that but when you stepped in shit back then, it wasn't like stepping in shit today. No way, no comparison, man.
And when you wanted to fart, there weren't any liberal around to tell you to go sit on a fluffy pillow.
No, no, everything was great. Yeah, great. Okay, now I gotta go and watch paint dry. ... Great, just great.
P.S. And I'm not ignorant.
