@OmegaZ0153 Even for an Escort Title, the game should at least TRY. It had a crappy storyline, terrible new voice actors, and funish gameplay. The Mystic Artes were fun to pull off, but not being able to customize the TOS1 characters sucked, and Emil and Marta were really annoying. And it shouldn't call itself Tales of Symphonia 2 if its not going to at least attempt to be as good as TOS1. So many things about this game were half-assed and lazy. Music was pretty awesome tho.

Hmm the story was a bit short and straight but dramatic and the voice actor did a good job. I guess it's just your disapointment because you were expecting more, the old voices and the dissapointment that they made new heroes who are annoying after a time. my only gripe with this game is the cap on the TOS cast, which makes them so useless and the lack of variation on the arena fights (the level caps make no sense since they level up, the caps should ahve been 25,50,100,200 just like how the monsters cap, once you level up a monster past 120 they cant participate on the arena EVER, unless they de-evolve)

Well, Presea is actually a powerhouse, she has some of the highest attack stats in the game, the drawback is that she's kinda slow, but using her along with some fast characters like Lloyd and Emil helps you counter this, "gang raping" the enemy and preventing him to move while Presea slowly does a vast amount of damage.

I admit this wasn't Namco's best work. One can clearly tell that you HAVE to raise monsters since you almost never have the TAles of Symphonia heroes and by the time you get them back they're practically worthless since Emil and Marta are likely way higher level. (That's why you always see Emil-Marta-Lloyd-Raine on Youtube fianl boss battles...cause they're the only ones who're any good at that point)

I actually prefer to use Zelos and Genis (not always) on him, because I've always had a certain fondness of Genis's moveset, and Zelos's Shining Bind absolutely destroys Richter. Unfortunately, Genis is not as great as I remember him from the previous game. Why not Indignation Judgement? Was there any real reason to make it into that less-impressive mystic arte? I would say not.
